Nick had always been afraid to get too close to his younger sister. She was pure, untainted, and bright. She was going places and he couldn’t bare the thought of ruining her with his filthy lifestyle, so he stayed away, jumping from rehab to drug den, from recovery to relapse. It was an exhausting dance.

Then the end of the world happened. And now, for the first time in years, through the broken frame of tragedy and delicate lens of remorse, two people who couldn’t be more different, were opening up their hearts to each other for the very first time.

It was dangerous. It was beautiful. It was shameful. It threatened to consume them both.
