I love this moment. it means so much to me. Beatrice has only had the one drink, so she’s not drunk, but already all that nervous energy has just vanished entirely. she’s allowing herself to be giggly and silly in Ava’s presence, because Ava makes her feel safe, because Ava’s so good at making people feel comfortable in new situations. this is why Beatrice fell for Ava, because Ava can make her smile like this.
