When I was a kid my dentist used to let us bring our Walkman to our appointments and jam to our music while he worked on our teeth. I never did that though because I didn’t want to associate the music I love with something as crappy as getting a filling. The times we’re in feel like a big dentist appointment and I’m having a hard time enjoying the things I’m supposed to enjoy.
