This is the end.
I think it’s time for me to officially leave this site for good. @havesomedisney and I just got engaged. 8 years after we met each other here. A Disney movie got released and I actually got to enjoy it in peace. (For the most part. Not to mention that it was largely due to focusing my attention to other things on this site. Thank the universe for ROTTMNT.)
But those victories aside, what bothers me about this site isn’t all of the things I’ve somehow gotten used to and learned how to deal with, oh no. And I know it’s going to sound weird but here goes anyway.
If there’s one thing I can always count on for people on this site to do, it’s complain. Ya’ll never do anything to fix or stop the thing you complain about but I can still count on you to bust my eardrums from the sheer volume of your whining. THEN Space Jam 2 finally gets released and the Monstars are NOWHERE to be seen. And here I’m thinking ‘oh, tumblr won’t have that. They’re coded black.’ (’Cept for Blanko who was the token white.)

I can’t find the words to describe how disappointed I am. All you care about is how they changed Lola’s design. But who the fuck cares? She didn’t have boobies in the looney tunes show she was in and ya’ll still love that version better anyway.
If I can’t even depend on tumblr to complain about racism in a way that matters to me then I officially give up. There’s no reason to come here anymore. I’m just gonna have to enjoy fandom on my own without a community. I’m sure I’ll get used to it after a while. Ya’ll who follow me on AO3, you can message me and we’ll figure out some other way to DM each other.
Well, I guess that’s it tumblr. I’ll take my man and my Disney/Marvel and leave.
It’s been an interesting 10 years, I gotta say. Let’s hope this place gets shut down for lack of use sooner rather then later.
