This has probably been said multiple times here already, but let's just go back a bit to when pearlie was revealed to us all. Remember the hate she kept getting? I don't know about this place, but after her and Marina were shown off I saw a ton of comments and posts saying stuff like "eww gross look at the squid" "the octarian is sooo hot, she could be the whole group and no one would care" "look at that massive forehead on the squid" just shit like that. I remember seeing posts saying they "fixed pearlie" by giving her bangs, changing the shape of her mask. I even saw some where they made her taller. One on an app I deleted gave her a bigger chest. Point is I think that her winning the final fest is big and that it shows how much she's grown on us. Personally she became my favorite idol after the octo expansion. I'm seriously happy that I haven't seen hate for pearlie in a long time. Considering the hate she got for the longest time if you would've said pearl would win the final splatfest 2 years ago. No one would've believed you. Just something I wanted to say yesterday, but was too busy to do so
