not to be dramatic but the amount of people commenting on this post that I should stop whining and be grateful for having two days off a week when they only get one or none is...... literally proving my point that we’re all brainwashed ghfjhddjfk... thats like if someone cut off your arms and then only cut off one of mine, you focus on how much worse you have it instead of the fact that we’re still both fucking bleeding out

Because let me tell you, from a Brazilian communist, when the right and nato countries overthrew OUR meek pseudo liberal leftist government in favor of actual fascists we fought like hell against them, no communist will support the substitution of a shitty but independent leftist government by a fascist US backed one

i am saying the communist party is anti-maduro because he has been politically persecuting them. ties have been broken since 2020. they ran behind an independent candidate, who was treated like shit mind you, and were denied the right to be in his ballot. they were forcibly placed under maduro's ballot against their will, and after the incredibly suspicious election, they released a statement demanding maduro show his ballots (which he still hasn't as of this post) they're not pro-mcm or edmundo if that's what you think i was saying. they're just demanding the gvt upholds the democratic process like practically everyone in the country. does that make them pro-opposition?? i guess ?? technically?? but it's less that they joined forces w the neoliberals and more that maduro is burning so many bridges it also includes several non-psuv left parties at this point. everyone wants him out EXCEPT foreigners bc they don't know the situation on the ground very well regardless my point with this post was to point out just HOW internally discrediting it is for international leftists to still be so unquestionably loyal to maduro. support for him needs to drop asap and they need to pressure the government to find alternatives to him or venezuela is going to end in the us' pockets anyway, as people are angry with him and becoming very reactionary as a result. like sorry but you can't fail to give the people alternatives, lecture them that they don't know what's good for themselves, and then be shocked when they choose desperate & objectively bad options🤷‍♀️
