like one day noctis offers to give him a ride back home from school or something and prompto is like whatever. then he gets there and ignis greets him very formally and introduces himself as noctis' advisor. and prompto is mildly terrified of him. that boy has anxiety for days, he was DEFINITELY sure he was gonna slip up at some point and that ignis was just gonna stop him from ever seeing noctis again or something.

noctis sees him being weird around ignis and is like 'dude what are you doing its just specs he's literally chill' meanwhile prompto is vibrating in pure terror bc this is like someone IMPORTANT and SMART who'll probably clock him as the commoner he is instantly

ignis makes a few jokes to try and calm him down but prompto is NOTTT getting it and his anxiety just makes the dry humour go over his head so it makes things worse

and it's probably even worse with gladio 😭 like they go to the mall together or something and noctis ends up having to bring a bodyguard so he just drags a (very annoyed) gladio along with him. from prompto’s perspective, there's this six foot something muscled guy who's several years older than him and whose job is SPECIFICALLY to protect noctis. and the first time he meets him, he's in a bad mood. like at that point prompto is just thinking he's gonna die

so…it’s the professional opinion of several plumbers, septic companies, and remediation teams that our house is pretty much a lost cause.

for those new to the saga or unaware bc I have been bad at updating people: my dad, the sole provider of our family, died in December.

the remaining members of our family have been living in a hotel for a month and a half bc my house started having serious plumbing issues and we have NO running water rn.

the septic guy who came out to our house said the thing is built in a bowl; everything around us drains directly toward us. our septic system is completely broken. it’s full of rainwater and everything that was inside of it is backing up underneath our house.

legally, a new septic system has to be a certain distance from the road, the neighbor’s house, the old system, etc.

that sweet spot probably doesn’t exist, and even if it did, WE’RE IN A BOWL and the new system wouldn’t work well.

aaaand if the county found out about the fact that our house is sitting on top of hundreds of gallons of human waste with a 95% chance of that issue not being fixable, they’d kick us out and condemn our house.
