insane to me that Mako's father was already presumably dying before Onibaba even made landfall. they were in Tokyo for cancer treatments. like. her father has always been dying a slow death, a long goodbye, but it's always a kaiju that makes his final end.

even worse than being hyperfixated on FFXV and knowing we'll never get another update is specifically being obsessed with Kingsglaive. The one-off movie that killed off two of my favorite characters, has awful ratings, and no one else has thought about more than once in the last five years. I know I'll never see another thing in my life about that movie and I still can't stop yearning for any more updates
