Today, two rockets struck a house near our tent. My children were terrified, trembling and crying uncontrollably. They are living surrounded by danger, explosions, rats, insects, and constant fear. Instead of enjoying a peaceful childhood, they are growing up burdened by fear and trauma.

As a mother, it breaks my heart to see them suffer while I am unable to provide the safety they deserve.

I am both a mother and a father to my children. We live in a tent where even the simplest necessities of life are missing. Every night, I try to provide a little light so my children can continue their studies despite these difficult circumstances.

I used to rely on a battery to light our tent, but it has broken. Now we live in frightening darkness. Watching my children struggle to study without light breaks my heart, and I feel helpless because I cannot provide this basic need for them.

Simba, our beloved cat and a cherished member of our family, has shared every chapter of this painful journey with us. She endured displacement after displacement, survived the horrors of hunger, and lived through the constant sounds of explosions and fear.

Despite everything, Simba never gave up. She held on to life and hope.

Recently, she gave birth to beautiful kittens just like her, making our family a little bigger. These tiny lives have brought us moments of comfort and reminded us that even in the darkest times, hope can still be born.

we didn't even manage to raise the money for his immune globulin injection last week, and we are now, on top of that, about $1k in debt to the doctor for the iv fluids he had to take for that.

that has to be paid for in conjunction with his urgent digoxin injection, which he will die without, which means the minimum amount we have to raise by tuesday 4 pm gaza time is $2,129.

i am really not feeling optimistic, because we had to urgently evacuate the family last week from israel's active bombing and no one cared enough to contribute almost any donation at all, even as small as $5 - only a small handful of people chipped in.
