i love legend of korra but I hate that sokka was just killed off without any mention of his accomplishments, his family, and suki. this will always remain my biggest grudge with bryke. sokka would have been a great mentor to korra. imagine the talks they would have had about power, responsibility, and living up to expectations. they also share a cultural background which sokka could have used to guide korra in moments of distress. and imagine, just imagine sokka mentoring asami that would have been such an interesting dynamic. and the shared humor sokka would have had with bolin. i know bryke thought their story through but team avatar needed sokka.

#i adore the fact that it apparently occurs to neither of these two dudes to wonder:#a) why the fire lord's heir was working in a tea shop in ba sing se#or b) why a tea shop worker in ba sing se became the fire lord#not a concern#these guys have nothing in their heads but supportive positivity for their man lee

I’ll try to get some photos but bf definitely named his place “Kyoshiland” (Kyoshi Island didn’t fit) and found Kyoshi Warriors armor someone had made and it’s glorious

That is amazing. I’ve seen a few Kyoshi armor patterns and they’re nasty good
