An Anonymous Alcoholic

Fear is the cause if most of my problems 2day. It has manifested itself in 1000 different ways and directions, but when it's reduced down to the simplest form... It's just another form of FEAR.

Sorry i've been absent... life and shit... But i decided to go bak 2 my updates after meetings to try and share my experiencen with you... Tonight wad on Step 1 (never a bad topic) and the things i herd really all boiled down to 2 things. 1. We have to concided to our inner most self the we are infact alcoholics & our lives have become unmangable. So if we aren't fully convinced we are alcoholics then we cannot surrender out will and our lives, hence we will not be able to connect w/ our higher power. 2. Relapse is NOT a requirement, snything we put in fron of our recovery will be gone, When we get drunk. Again... This one is esspecially important for me, now thst i have s few 24hrs. under my belt. If i start to reston my laurels and slack on my recovery, they what ever i'm slacking to do will eventually be lost...

I've fallen off my promise of staying more active, but i just want you all to know that 2moro night is amature night, so make sure you hit your meetings and have a eacape plan if you are going to be around people drinking. And if your still on the fence about weither or not you have a problem, some of you out there will find out 2moro night... Most importantly, whatever you do, be safe cause all the drunks and normies (who try 2 drink w/ the drinks) will be out... and AA will give you as many chances as you need, but you can't do the steps 6 feet underground.
