Hello I exist still btw!!!!!

In the song ‘Night Light’ by the mountain goats, one of the first lines is “Nerves strung so high, I am a mandolin”, which, I mean, cool, I love it as a metaphor, but for some inexplicable reason my brain always fills it in as ‘mandarin’ instead of ‘mandolin’ which I find hilarious - ‘I am so nervous that I’m actually an orange’

I think I was really hungry the first time I listened to it and then the food thing just kinda stuck from then on

Surprise! I actually made some art finally! It’s been, what, 3 months? Wowwwww I’m sorry yall! I’ll try make more soon! This is episode 11 of Kaboom Drawing TMG Songs For Funsies

I listened to this song for the first time a few days ago, and I immediately got this image of a cute seal in my mind - like I cannot bring myself to find seals scary

And so I felt an urge to draw this thought

The general concept is:

“SEALS ARE VICIOUS VIOLENT MONSTERS”

Meanwhile seals: 🦭

As you can probably see, I tried a new shading technique with this, which I enjoyed doing! I think it looks pretty cool so I might use it again in the future
