Career: Captain of the Rainmakers squadron under Starscream Seeker legion as well as being a chemist. Their claim to fame being the creator of the Rainmaker’s chemical weapons that would give them their squadron name.

Personality: Self centered and extremely lost within their own world, taking pride in both their work and appearance. Her ADHD makes her pretty easily off task, causing her to have to be guided back in the right direction by Nova Storm.

Relationship Status: Single but has made hints towards Nova Storm

Identity: Genderfluid (He/She)

Career: Unofficial second in command of the Rainmakers and the Deceptacon’s resident Geologist. He’s able to absorb beam attacks with his special plating and is able to hold onto the heat or discharge it in a heat blast. If he doesn’t discharge it at some point though he risks overheating and risks self destruction.

Personality: Quick tempered but considers himself to be the major brains of the squad. A philosopher of the relationship between lifeforms and the planets they inhabit. Often clashes with Acid Storm as while she’s the leader, he believes that she needs him as her guidance, pulling her back on track if she’s off task.

Relationship Status: Single but hasn’t taken the hints from Acid Storm

Name: Ion Storm

Identity: Cisgender (He/Him)

Career: The last member of the Rainmakers Squadron and a meteorologist who works to analyze the best conditions for potential tactical advantages. His ability is that of using his overcharged spark to conduct electricity during storms, controlling the weather. He’s also able to overcharge the sparks of others on up close contact, but he prefers keeping his distance as he’s a bit of a coward.

Personality: The younger unstable brother of Thundercracker. His spark was malformed and accidentally undertook more energy than the average new-forged. Causing him to be labeled unstable for standardized combat. However, with heavy persuasion from Thundercracker, he was put into the Rainmakers squadron. He’s primarily a quiet guy usually being there for others and showing up but not saying much in the process. He carries a lot of self doubt in himself due to him only often being confused for his more famous brother.

Relationship Status: None, Aroace

Okay so with the Rainmakers essentially being blank canvases of characters I thought “hey what if I turned them into actual characters with personalities and LORE.” So starting this with objectively the most popular one, Acid Storm.

Acid Storm in my perspective is a chemist and understudy of Shockwave, not official understudy but they watch them from afar and take note. However instead of experimenting on their fellow bot they instead focused inward, experimenting on well… themselves. With a love for chemistry she began to alter biology to see if she could make herself into a biological weapon for the decepticons to help gain recognition by many of the higher commanding officers. She eventually was able to convert the energon in her blood into an acidic substance that could be used to melt through Cybertronian flesh.

Due to this, her body is constantly bubbling and melting, leading her to have to take transfusions constantly to keep her from turning into a puddle of green goo. This….biological enhancement? Unfortunately did not give her the attention she wanted, good attention at least, Star Scream as well as the rest of the seekers were utterly horrified by what they turned themselves into. This fear of possibly being liable for the damage they’d bring if brought to fly amongst his ranks, Star Scream gave them their own squadron to command, the Rainmakers. While Acid Storm was ecstatic of the news, Star Scream really only created the unit as a suicide squadron of malfunctioning or damaged seekers at risk of being a danger to themselves or others around them.

I know that it sounds odd but I have some ideas that kinda back this up. In her first boss fight you have to gain 3 skulls to open the door, these could represent the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. All of which in Ultrakill, are gone, the Father (God) is dead, the son (Jesus) never came, and the Spirit has virtually died out.

V2 was created as a protector of mankind and a representation on the reformed good that can come from humanity. Her name spelt in Roman Numerals is VII or “7” seven being the holy number while V1’s name is spelt out as VI or “6.” V2 represents the Christ and V1 represents the Anti-Christ, at least maybe in her eyes. She hunts down V1 for his actions but still does so with respect, bowing because they are equals with an inverse in purpose. She also flees and returns later, dying whilst trying to destroy humanity’s final sin.

I’ve always found it kinda odd that she’s bigger and if she’s bigger than good Lord how big is the KnuckleBlaster???

V2 cannot be reconstructed by the new enemy in Fraud because it’s a reference to the meme. But taking this idea and running with it, she can’t be reconstructed because it’s the remains of her husk, if she became a prime soul after destruction then her soul would be separated from her body. The body isn’t what is revived by the enemy, it’s its soul, its blood. This is even seen as MACHINES THEMSELVES can be revived by the enemies, suggesting they do indeed have some semblance of a soul. Their soul and blood remains within the body, V2’s would not for she would have her body destroyed and her soul would carry on to a greater form.

Continuing this idea, that’s why Hakita said she was dead, her body, the machine, the corpse of V2, is dead. King Minos and Sisyphus are both declared dead while having prime souls, they’re their souls, it doesn’t mean they are in fact alive or “living.”

V2 is the test of your growth throughout the game, the literal reflection of you, V1. The Prime Sanctums, are only able to be completed by your skill as a player, and what would be the best and final test than the enraged echo of yourself. Two souls, both of extreme willpower, trying to overcome the other. I feel like it’d be the utter chef’s kiss of V2’s story, and it’s not like it’d interfere with the rest of the game. I’m not saying she should be main story, but more like, a final test of the player that says “hey, good on you :>”



V2 dies in Act II yes yes haha funny “reconstruct what?” Wow this joke hasn’t been more dead than V2 herself for years, right?

So V2 dies, however, what if IN A WAY she was resurrected. While this is a stretch I think it could be an interesting idea. The Gutterman’s poem suggests that they have been able to live on their own without the need of the coffin on its back. Suggesting that Hell itself has been able to provide energy to them the same is with the Earth Movers. Hell also can be attributed to allowing free consciousness with the energy it provides, consciousness could be stretched and or strengthened into a soul. Almost every enemy in game can become enraged, including machines, like V2.

How do prime souls form? From the strength of the soul and its willpower to survive. What if after V1 left Greed, V2 after gaining a soul from Hell’s energy conjured so much hatred from losing to V1 twice over that it was able to form a prime soul. As for its husk, there wouldn’t be one as she was completely destroyed.

I like to think that Power(s?) in Ultrakill are extremely young to the point of literally being warriors in training. But due to the severity of everything that happened during Act II heaven was desperate enough to send them to search for Gabriel. Hence why they call out their weapons when summoning them, they’re still practicing how to do it on their own. This is why Gabriel DOESNT call out his attacks/ weapons since he’s a pro.

I think that 2001 RiD SideBurn would actively attend multiple car shows in alt-mode and just salivate over every car there till Prowl had to check on him over one of those FaceTime chats they do.
