Hello, The Sims lovers! Recently, you probably caught @morepopcorn update about the FAME PACK mod, which is going to bring back some cool features from the Sims Superstar EP (and not only!) 🤩

I can't express how excited I am to bring brand-new animations to these iconic objects and finally see them in action inside the game. I wanted to share a sneak peek of the WIP process with you! These clips come from the Recording Studio and showcase both the successful and failed versions of doing jingles and handling rejection.

I HIGHLY recommend this Catalog Cleanup Mod by Phaenoh:

I can't imagine trying to find things in the vanilla Maxis catalog. They really threw every single thing into Deco/Sculptures or Deco/Misc and called it a day.

I'm working on my own Cleanup mod of the build/buy catalog and I'll show visual comparisons between my mod and Phaenoh's once mine is done so that people can decide which one they want to download (or if they want to to stick to maxis' chaotic organization for some reason...)

I've used Phaenoh's mod for a very long time and I do love it!

Hi! Here's a global centerpiece enabler, 2 versions and an optional tutorial at the end!

I use this Haffa nursery by Honeywell a lot.

So I made the crib into an 2-in-1 crib/toddler bed.

Just one click on the bed to convert it from one model to another.

The crib can be used for babies and toddlers, the toddler bed is for toddlers only. They can use the toddler bed by themselves.

I added also the options to the changing table to choose baby outfits.

this mod allows an adult (teen to elder) to take a nap together with an infant or toddler in the bed.

base game compatible includes xml injector disclaimer: please note that sleeping in the same bed with infants is not recommended for safety reasons. this mod is just a part of my fantasy about family and children. it is not meant to encourage or promote bed-sharing with infants in real life.

here are two animation styles based on the sim's gender. you can switch between them using my other mod!

you can see a preview of the poses in the video in the title.

features/issues:

the action only works on the left side of the bed.

when using a double bed, the object is not reserved. this means other sims can lie or sit on the side where the action takes place!

the action lasts 90 in-game minutes. baby receives a sleep buff at the start of the action. the buff will last exactly 90 minutes! if you cancel the action early, the buff will remain.

if you decide to wake up earlier, make sure the child is selected and then click on the child to choose the action "remove sleepy buff". alternatively, you can use the ui cheats extension mod, which allows you to remove any buff by simply clicking on it.

this doesn’t happen often, but sometimes the action may not work. in that case, let your sim pick up the child and then click on the interaction again.

outcomes:

increases energy and social motives;

for adults, increases parenting skill slightly;

slightly improves relationships;

adds unique buffs:

A little quickie mod @simulationprincess made me think of

🍰 Call To Meal option enabled for foods with invisible/unusual plates

HCDU scan for conflicts is recommended if you have mods altering autonomy or availability of food's interactions. I had to override food pie menus to make the interaction work immediately as opposed to going to the sim's queue and waiting for them to finish their current action

Download on SFS - may require Apartment Life or Mansion & Garden (not sure when the pie menu format 54 was introduced, maybe it works on earlier game versions)

These are 4to2 conversions from Somik&Severika and Littlbowbub, Ice Cream tray has 9k polygons when all the ice creams are visible, while the Palmiers Bag is low poly.

Both are functional, can be found in Buy Mode, Kitchen-Miscellaneous. Sims can take food from them. The Palmiers Bag requires the Kitchen Towel from my Functional Cookie Jar (it's included but if you already have it you don't need it) and it's also restockable.

Anoeska’s Easel Superset Made Shiftable

Jessa made  a request for Anoeska’s paintings to be made shiftable awhile back and as far as I can tell no one else has done it. 

Note: They shift but there are limitations — they only shift half way down the wall.

It’s the best I was able to do with the time I was willing to spend on this and I suspect I would not have been able to make these shift like normal paintings even if I dug deeper into it. Even though it’s limited you can still get a nice arrangement, especially with the smaller paintings, so I decided to share what I was able to do.   

The file names remain the same so if you already have the easels allow these files to overwrite the old ones.  If you’re downloading for the first time everything you need is included in the zip.  See Anoeska’s original upload thread for details.  

Credits:  These are entirely Anoeska’s work.  The only changes I made were the necessary BHAV edits to make them shift. 

These are 4to2 conversions from Taurus, low poly. It's the complete set (48 items + beddings recolors) except for the Pillow Fort and the Kids Tea Party. Every object has 20, 30 or 40 recolors. All is functional.
