Yo so I’m a thick girl, I ain’t plus size, I ain’t skinny, I’m in the middle. I just wanna say that there are lots of fanfics that deal with body issues, you know the ones where the reader feels insecure cause she got ”curves” ”thick thighs” and the guy comforts her telling her she’s beautiful, enough for him, etc.

Now don’t get me wrong, I love these fics but what I like to see is that the writers acknowledge the different types of body size and shape. Even tho this doesn’t relate to me at all I’d like to read about skinny reader that is insecure about their size, you know the ones that are just naturally skinny, the ones that try to get thicker but just can’t. These people exist too.

I just feel that every size should get a shot, you know? I’m all about equality here. I’m not saying that the ideal size is skinny, size 4 and that the skinny people need to be written about more. I’m not saying that you should stop writing about curvy women feeling insecure and being comforted about their size. All I’m saying is that I think we should recognize that there are some skinny people who feel insecure about being skinny and want to gain weight for their health or just for themselves. That there are people who are actually bullied and even harrassed about being skinny.

Don’t you think they deserve that too?

Men who are religious and don’t sleep around (calling out Matt murdock and Seely booth)

Christian characters who aren’t mocked or belittled or seen as stupid.

Genius characters like Sherlock or Spencer Reid who are religious.

Religious people with flaws.

Gay religious characters.

Recently I’ve been playing Endless Space 2, and they have the religious political party as the opposite of the scientific. With many of their available laws being about xenophobia. And basically all of the in-game events portray religious options as cruel, wasteful, or just plain dumb. One even has the religious option as endorsing a ‘flat planet’ proponent.
