we're a recently discovered system attempting to better navigate and understand our experiences. this is a sideblog dedicated to that! this blog will consist of reblogs, rambles, and occasional comics/art about our experiences. (the more honest reasoning behind making this blog is that during our syscovery we followed a bunch of plural blogs but bc we're not openly plural on main we didn't have a place to reblog/respond to them. plus we were getting diary comic fomo lmao -orange)
detailed intro post
original post tag / comics tag / art tag
more information + some ground rules under the cut
-we don't mind if you know/find our main blog (it's not particularly hard to find and those that know us likely will recognize our sonas), but we request that you don't ask us for it. for the moment we're attempting to keep this blog as its own separate thing
-we collectively use any pronouns, but headmates' individual pronouns are in their intros. while we'd prefer to use pseudonyms here over giving our actual names, you're more than welcome to address us individually in asks or replies
-we'll sign off on any posts that we make / comics that include us. our reblogs will only include sign offs if the post is relevant to a particular headmate or if they leave something in the tags
-we utilize both a queue and real-time posting. in the interest of privacy we won't be clarifying which posts are which. the headmate that signs off on a specific post may or may not currently be fronting at the time that it's actually posted
-we're bodily an adult and most of our headmates are adults as well. however, our blog is open to everyone and will likely not contain any explicit or adult-oriented content. while we'll try to tag any CW/TWs we can think of, feel free to ask for posts to be tagged if you'd like the ability to filter them for any reason
-our askbox is always open! however, we may delete asks that we feel are mean-spirited or that violate our privacy. please keep it respectful!
-we use we/us and I/me relatively interchangeably when talking about our experiences. certain headmates may use I/me to differentiate when their experiences are unique to them specifically
-please don't guess/ask about introjects' sources. using pseudonyms means maintaining anonymity. we don't want to single them out by confirming their names when other headmates get to keep theirs private.
-please don't speculate on our origins. we firmly believe it is nobody's concern but our own.
-‼️no syscourse please‼️ we accept all origins and experiences regardless of if we personally understand or relate to them. fakeclaiming helps no one and only serves to isolate those that might benefit from using a system framework to describe their experiences. we're not in your head, we can't police your experience or the terms you choose to describe them with, and we firmly believe in the validity of all systems. we reserve the right to block anyone who violates this rule.

#9: "Inworld." I always do enjoy hearing other plural people's experiences, but I wanted to share my own experience. The limit of each of our interactions with one another are hearing voices, and even that's pretty uncommon... which leads to some of my difficulties with cooking. :P
little comic about facial/body dysmorphia as an alter
i dont even know who i am but all i know about myself is that i have it the worst out of everyone i literally got sick to the stomach when i looked at myself in the mirror

the thing they don't tell you about host complexes and feeling like you're faking being plural is that there comes a point where the counterargument shifts from "you're not faking this because you're not doing it intentionally and the fact that we're talking back means we're realll" to "it'd actually be a lot fucking weirder if you were faking this to be honest. like being plural is the less weird explanation."
this post brought to you by the fact that despite being home alone and being collectively neutral-positive towards bugs, green saw a silverfish on the ceiling while in the shower and immediately started frantically saying my name to try and get me to take front and do something about it. grabbing myself by the shoulders if I was somehow faking this literally what would be the point of doing all that. like the options are 1) plural or 2) i pretended to be afraid of something I am Not afraid of to an audience of no one and felt genuine panic and fear for no reason and then cried my own name over and over just for funsies before actually doing anything about it
while innerworlds are talked about plenty, the experiences and lives of the very real systems with no innerworld are just as valuable to discuss. some by choice, others just naturally being that way, and with some having lost their innerworld. regardless, having no innerworld is a very normal experience for a system to have. an innerworld is not and has never been mandatory to be a system.

demonic possession is a decent trope but you know what's even better? demonic cohabitation. just 2 people sharing the same body and both being the world's worst roommate about it.
For any newly discovered systems feeling self-doubt because you struggle to hear your headmates, or rarely hear from them: don't worry, that's really common when you're new to all this. Being able to hear your headmates is a skill you can build up with time and practice. Give yourself some slack; you didn't even know there was something you should be listening for! You've gotta train yourself to pick it out! Don't strain yourself, but don't close yourself off either, and you'll find it becoming easier over time. A couple years ago, We also had a lot of trouble communicating, but now I can get interrupted by someone saying "sandwiches" out of the blue just to mess with me.
As a tip: you can build yourself up to internal communication through external communication. You'll train yourself into accepting + expecting their commentary, and start dismantling walls that impede communication. When internal communication feels fuzzy and hard to hold onto, external communication can be your best friend, especially if you're doing both at the same time (e.g. your headmate writes down what they're saying as they're saying it).

and not in the way of wanting more people to have a dissociative disorder, but in the way of plurality being more accepted and known about.
and not just traumagenic plurality; all types of plurality.
everyone deserves a safe place to be themselves, which includes plurals of all kinds, no matter the origin.
we've known about our system for over 5 years now, and we've only managed to muster the courage to tell 2 people in our life about our plurality. we'd like it to be more, but we don't out of fear. fear of more abuse, fear of rejection, fear of abandonment, etc. Those fears are such common experiences throughout the system community that it's become a known problem, but by working to make the sigma around plurality disappear, we get closer and closer each day to a plural future. ♡
Former host speaks on stupid origin discourse bullshit, something that caused real tangible conflict and damage both within our system and in our physical outward life
(Also the iPod thing is only half accurate, that was just our first outwardly noticeable host exchange)
