Becoming Alexa

Since I retired, I often go on holidays, and when I travel to unfamiliar places, I feel completely free to be myself—no one there really cares about my transgender identity.

Being trans taught me something most people never learn: happiness doesn't come from becoming someone else. It comes from finally allowing yourself to be who you've always been.

I work in retail, when I'm not working, I'm usually trying a new recipe, or spending way too much time deciding what to watch.
