Reminder to all systems and the like out there: treat your difficult parts kindly. Coming from the resident "problem part," it would make a world of a difference to be treated like a person who has their own wants, hopes, goals, etc. Even if a part is frustrating or even harmful to others, they deserve to be treated with the same dignity and respect as the others. They are a part of you, after all, and don't you deserve to be treated like a person?

enjoying the warm welcome we've received! I still really don't know how much I want to use the terms "system" and "plural" because I don't know the cause of what's going on in my itty bitty head, but I don't necessarily reject them either?

And this is /nm (not mad), btw, I don't mind people using words that they understand to describe my experience if it helps them to grasp what I'm trying to communicate
