I urge you, brothers and sisters, in view of God’s mercy, to offer your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God—this is your true and proper worship.
Romans 12:1
Paul while writing to the Romans, calls believers to offer their bodies as a living sacrifice. "Living" implies that our life itself must be an act of worship. Worship is not just going to church and worshipping God for a day. It means that your body is devoted to God, for holy and righteous purposes. How do we offer ourselves to God?
Paul gives us certain practical steps in the same chapter-
Romans 12:1-2
1) Be holy, dedicate all of yourself to God.
2) Walk pleasing in His sight.
3) Do not conform to the pattern of this world.
4) Be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Fill your mind with God's word, so that Jesus will be the centre of your thoughts.
When you do that, you will discern what God's will/plan/purpose for your life is, which is good and acceptable and perfect.
