I am fighting for my life against sleep right now. Why do people do this? I love sleep. Why would I ever try to escape it? But no. I need to stay awake another 2 hours because if I fall asleep, there's no way I will be in any sort of functioning state when needed. This is madness. This is torture. Why have I inflicted this upon myself? Could I not have let myself drift in slumber earlier? I am wise enough to know that if I sleep now, then I'm screwed. Is it not the folly of the wise to run from that which they love?

Update: I was hoping to catch some slep at 6 am. Did not fucking happen. I tried so hard to sleep on that plane, but it was just so uncomfy that, had I managed, I would have ended up even more sore in even more places than I already am. I need sleep, I need water, frankly I need a cigarette. I was singing Mambo no.5 on the way off the plane. The only thing keeping me from falling asleep as I write this while waiting for our bags is vocaloid music I downloaded in 2021

"old people are usually bigoted" isn't necessarily true, I know some old people who aren’t, but I think a lot of folks forget that *most poor and working class people die younger* and if someone is 70+ there is a higher chance that they're independantly wealthy and, you know, since we live in *this motherfucking system* there's a higher chance that they're white, cis, straight and very comfortable in their privileges. "old people are usually bigoted" is not true but "the people with the most privilege usually live longer" is.

I wish irl grinding was as fun as in videogames tbh. Like yeah i need to go to work a thousand times but after that i have enough materials to buy a house. But alas, houses arent real
