-The usual pillar that never got surprised, is right now standing still frozen in place

- Giyuu helps you up and leads you away from the person without looking back. (desperatly trying to cover his face for some reason, probably done with your clumsyness)

“…You okay?”

“Y-YEP! But oh god that was embarrassing…”

-(Even though you wanted to crawl inside a hole Giyuu would make sure you are feeling better later by getting you your favourite food or something)

-He won’t mention anything about it if your embarrassed or feel uncomfortable, he would keep it a secret if you want to and in the end of the day he would never make fun of you anyways.

-Confused. Surprised. And after a few moments of processing, a small smirk escapes from her lips.

-Will help you up after a bit, she has visible anger from the demon slayer being careless which makes the demon slayer apolozie quickly and run off.

-She would tease you about it so much though. 

“Ara ara~ dear (Sister/brother) Look who is so flustered after their mistake~”

-But its a secret to the other slayers, she knows if Uzui heard about it you will hear no end…

GIyuu- (Younger/twin sibling reader)

He never gave full attention to any messages sent by his crow- no matter if it was a lower slayer dying, or about how the number of slayers dropped. Of course his heart wavered a bit from the poor souls but it didn't matter to him unless It was a mission or something important from master kagaya (Or if it was a silly message from you, he would listen to the crow)

Today the weather was humid- the sun came up and It wasn’t raining but something felt off to the water pillar.

Giyuu didn’t give much attention to it though, he was just ourside of his estate staring deep into the sky, waiting for you to come back from your mission, skipping his training for the day.

The last thing he expected was his crow cawing frantically cawing outside his estate 

Stating that you are dead.

Time seemed to stop right there for the pillar. 

His breathe hitched and for the first time in years his breathing form was off. 

Guilt hit his heart as if 100 knives stabbed him.

Why would you leave him after all the people he lost? 

Why did fate tear you away from him? 

If Giyuu never let you follow his lead would you be next to him right now?

Giyuu looked down, hot tears streaming down his eyes.

When Master kagaya held a meeting for the Hashiras the area was dim. Obanai and Sanemi didn’t shoot Giyuu glares or weird comments, instead their looks were somber, as they knew he wasn’t dealing it well- and that was the sad truth. 

Giyuu was not eating any food Mitsuri or Rengoku tried to give him, he barely came out of his estate after your death, and broke down constantly when he was alone. 

After the meeting, he finally came to your grave with your sword hilt and a piece of your Haori that the Kakushi could retrieve from the fight scene.

He put them next to your resting place carefully, as if it was a delicate piece of string that might break any moment.

He looked up at the sky trying to hold back tears

“Y/n,,forgive me for not being there dear (brother/sister)…I will join you and the others soon after I finish my job.”

Shinobu- (Older sibling reader)

She always told you to be careful, and you did (for the most part) 

The worst wound you ever got was a huge slash across your leg, but you were strong and you survived even the fight against Daki and Gyutaro, with Tanjiro and the others.

Shinobu was hesitate when you had a new mission. For some reason this time it felt off, an upper moon? Against you? I mean sure you could protect yourself, you proven that more than a million times by now but there was this weird feeling in her heart.

So with a quick promise to her and some goodbyes with the other butterfly sisters you went your way to the next mission.

Shinobu got back to her usual work, like taking care of the wounded , training Kanao and the others (which is your job but she fills in whenever your not available) and lastly testing out some poison.

She thought you would come back like usual, with a cheeky smile that she could never get mad at.

But time passed, from a few hours, to overnight. 

Shinobu was restless, demanding information from the other demon slayers and when she found out you died she was enraged.

Her dear older (Brother/sister) was gone. Another one of her siblings. 

What if she stopped you from going on this mission? 

If she was there quicker maybe she could’ve saved you from this terrible fate. 

Kanao was quiet but she was broken inside. and the other butterfly sisters couldn’t help but break down every time someone mentioned about you.

Meanwhile Shinobu was never sleeping-every night she was awake, researching about the demons and trying to create more stronger doses. 

Kanao had to persuade her to go to bed, to take care of herself.

Trying to smile more was hard for Shinobu, she lost the only string that had kept her together after Kanae’s death.

She visited Kanae’s and your grave almost every night mumbling soft promises in the dark.

“Y/n, Kanae…I will turn the demon that hurt you into ashes. Please wait for me”

Sanemi- (middle child reader between Sanemi and Genya) 

Sanemi always cursed at you for being so weak, for even trying out to be a demon slayer just like Genya

Truth to be told, he just didn’t want you to get tangled up with his mess. 

All that screaming and shouting at you was to make you stop becoming a Hashira but you decided to go against his wishes.

You wanted to protect people, be the highest rank and actually head straight forward to danger to protect people- even at the cost of your life.

And that’s what you did one night.

You saved two kids’ lives by protecting them with your body, after your sword broke from the force of the upper rank.

When Sanemi’s crow informed him about your death he was blinded with rage. 

He wanted to wipe the demon that killed you off of the face of earth.

Not only was he mad at that, he was mad at the other “weaklings” (aka the lower rank demon slayers) for not protecting you. And lastly he was mad at himself for making such a mistake.

He should’ve stopped you and Genya from becoming in this position way too long ago. And yet he didn’t because of both of your bright passions.

Genya was shocked. His older (brother/sister) gone? The one that stood up for him?

Genya tried to talk to Sanemi but he bluntly shut him off. 

Sanemi’s condition got worse and his drinking habits came back. Genya tried to talk Sanemi out of it but with no avail. The only respond he got back was Sanemi yelling at him. Every night this was the repeating habit the demon slayer corps heard.

Sonner or later Sanemi and Genya went to your grave while Sanemi finally broke down, his heart screaming in anger

“Y/n I’ll make sure that demon-and all the others will not get away without being punished. I’ll wipe that ass face off earth. For now you can rest in peace.”

Mitsuri - (Older sibling)

Everyday you two talked, (I kinda imagine Yapper x listener between you two everyday) 

You always helped Mitsuri out with sword training and looked after her, sometimes she wished she could do the same

Whenever Mitsuri saw you leave for a mission she never had this weird feeling in her chest like today.

She brushed it off although she couldn’t focus on anything, even forgetting her own meals.

But sooner or later her worst feeling came true when our crow announced your death.

You died a painful death by a upper moon because of a surprise attack no-one would’ve guessed.

She broke down on the floor, bawling her eyes out.

If it wasn’t for Obanai or Rengoku to push a bowl of food to her and tell her to eat she would’ve skipped many meals for days. 

She didn’t do it purposely- your death took such a toll on her she kept forgetting and didn’t have the energy to eat.

Everyday she visited your grave and it wasn’t any better there, she kept breaking down stuttering words out but in the end those sentences became heartbreaking sobs.

After months of the Hashiras looking after her, Master Kagaya finally could send her to missions, she finally got back to “normal self"

Except her smiles were more forced most times, even with the bubbly personality- having you taken away, she became more brutal to demons. 

When your family found out ,your other siblings broke down as well as your parents. Unable to accept your passing.

Soon Mitsuri took her meal and sat next to your grave. It became a habit to eat next to your grave as if you were still there.

Mitsuri would shed a few tears even after many months, but she could manage to get words out. 

Soon she could mutter a few words although she still stumbled with her words because of her sobs and occasional break downs.

“Y/n…(Oneesan/Oniisan), Im sorry I couldn’t protect you like you always did….I’ll end the demon that hurt you I promise!”

Obanai- (Younger sibling)

NOTE: (Ik he was the only boy in his family after years but like if your reading from male perspective pretend you were like with the same cage yk? :3)

As much as he hated people and conversations, You were the only one (after Mitsuri and master) that he would never mind talking to.

You were the one who never hurt him, let alone you always gave him soft smiles (Whether you were emotionless like him or a happy bubble)

Besides, you’ve been helping Obanai survive through his life. Even going through tortures with him.

Obanai was always was unsure of how to feel when you went on a mission not accompanied by anyone. 

He always had a bad feeling and this time it was worse. 

He wanted to go after you and tell you he have this nagging feeling inside him but he thought nothing of it and turned away, stroking Kamburamaru’s head as comfort.

The next day after he finished his training he was silently waiting for you.

He was about to ask Mitsuri or Rengoku if they saw you coming back but before he could even stand up a crow, your crow flew infront of his face flapping its wings wildly in panic.

For the next few seconds Obanai couldn’t comprehend what the crow said. 

You dead? From the mission?

Why didn’t he trust his instincts and tell you?

Why did he not go with you?

For a second he wished to change his actions. If he went maybe, or sent backup- Maybe you would’ve been telling him you were fine, that you just had a few wounds from the mission. 

Obanai never ate much, but after you death he just completely shut everyone away.

Mitsuri tried to get him to eat, even Sanemi joined in with her trying to force him to eat everyday.

“Iguro! Come on the last thing you can do for your (brother/sister) is to take care of yourself! They’re gone can’t you tell?!…Now come on the last thing they would want is to see you in great pain.”

Slowly he started to accept the food Sanemi gave him and joined Mitsuri again for meals, and day by day he began to go to your grave-getting the best decorations for you.

When he actually went to your resting place, he couldn’t help but have tears slowly going down his face as he put his head down. Kamburamaru’s comforts didn’t really do much but bring some sense of peace to him.

“Y/n. You did great dear (brother/sister). I will hunt the demon who caused you pain down to pieces. Just..wait for me”

Muichiro- (twin/younger by 1 year at most) 

(This scene is when muichiro got his memories back!)

Muichiro always tried to make up his time with you since he forgotten you for 2-3 years. 

He regretted not being there for you 24/7 when you were there for him. 

Between all of the hashira’s you two were the closest. Always seen together, training together, eating together, you name it. Your sibling bond was unmatched.

He almost always accompanied you on missions (no take-backs. He would not care about your complaints)

But today it was different. He had a mission the opposite of yours and he couldn’t really say no. 

Although he was a sneaky lil pillar, his loyalty when it came to master was insane.

You promised him to come back and meet him at Master Kagaya’s mansion the next morning. 

But when he arrived back at the demon slayer corps he was greeted by your crow, repeating your death from an upper moon again and again. 

Muichiro stood frozen in place. 

Guilt and sorrow punched him in the gut.

Why wasn’t he there for you when you needed it? 

He stood there for minutes until his feet could finally drag him towards Shinobu’s estate for answers. His mind full of questions. 

How did you die? Were you in pain? Could your fate have been different if he tried?

He thought nothing could shaken him up after he experienced Yuichiro’s death.

But when he saw the grave with your name on in several days later his breathing stopped. 

Thats when memories flooded him, finally making the mist pillar break down in silent tears. As he clenched his fists and mumbled silently through his tears.

“Y/n…I will make that bastard demon pay for your suffering..”

Rengoku- (older sibling)

Rengoku and you were complete opposites. You were known for your cruel training and words while Rengoku was known for his bright attitude. 

But one thing in common was that both were respected highly for their skills.

Rengoku always tried to get you to decline dangerous missions but you didn’t really care who you were against. Your pride in protecting humans were unmatched to any other passion.

Even with this tight knot in his chest Rengoku shook it off and he shot you a small smile before you took off on your mission.

The next day Rengoku was with Senjiro outside of their estate when he heard his crow frantically flying towards him saying a message that you had passed after a fight against an upper moon. 

Senjiro couldn’t stop from his tears threatening to spill and Rengoku just stood there eyes wide with disbelief.

When your father heard he flew into mad rage. Screaming at Senjiro and Rengoku continuously if they dared to try to stop his father from drinking again.  The retired flame pillar and your brother's were in great pain after you death.

Rengoku tried to smile again to others but your death took such a big toll in his heart. 

Most of his smiles were forced or sad.

He didn’t take care of himself much for weeks till he finally got back to his usual self because Mitsuri and Senjiro was worried too much about him.

When your grave was properly prepared Rengoku went there by himself at first.

He sat down right infront and had your broken sword hilt-the only thing left from you.

His eyes screamed anger and sorrow. Along with deep revenge. 

Tears dripped down his face as he looked up at your grave.

He gripped the sword hilt as he raised his head down.

“Y/n I will not fail to kill the one who put you through this pain. Please take care of mother for me (brother/sister).

Another normal day was in the area as you stared at the view infront of your eyes. Flowers bloomed in distances, the sun shining ever so brightly in Mondstadt.

Soft winds breezed through your hair, while a soft thud was heard behind you.

You turned around with a small smirk, turning to face the sound, you already knew who it was of course. The one and only carefree archon among the eight.

Venti smiled brightly running up to you.

"How is my little dove doing hmm?~ wait a moment right there! ,,,,hehe look, look y/n! I made a small flower crown for you~ How does it fit?"

Venti rushed out words with a face of excitement.

You froze for a second them touched the small delicate crown on your (long/short) hair.

Then started laughing quietly

"You made this venti? I never knew you were such a craftsman"

Venti huffed proudly

"What can I say? If its for you dove I guess I can do anything!,,,But don't tell morax I stole some of his Qingxin flowers! Or I'm for sure dead"

Venti finished his sentence with a scared chill

You obviously agreed, an angry Morax was a scary Morax after all, besides you knew venti would defiantly be thrown across Teyvat if Morax knew he stole flowers from his property.

You chuckled at the thought before pulling venti towards Mondstadt.

"Come on, let go through the city before the dandelion knight finds us slacking off when we are suppose to guide the citizens to safety,,,The last war put a huge scar on them"

Venti groaned in annoyance before looking at you again with a smug face

"Come on Y/n,,,Just for a few more minutes of slacking off? I'll play you a song?"

You stared at him crossing your arms "uh-huh yea later, right now taking care of your nation first"

You dragged him all the way back to Mondstadt, rolling yours eyes at venti's pleads

This was how you enjoyed you life, yes being immortal felt like a curse but staying with venti all day and dealing his nonsense?,,,Yea You would never want to miss that.

After your shift venti pulled you along back to the statue of seven, this time with a small flower in his hand

He gently put the flower in your hair before smiling sweetly and holding your hands

"It perfectly suits you y/n! You look so cute with it! And we are matching too see?"

You hummed softly

"I guess it does look beautiful,,,"

"Just like you!" Venti finished your sentence his eyes beaming with warmth

You let out a small laugh "yea, yea whatever you say Anemo god"

"Oh come on! You know its true!" Venti dragged you down on the soft grass. both of you fell and laughed enjoying the moment.

Venti turned his face towards you and cupped your face in his hands

"I promise once all the chaos is over we will explore every nation in teyvat! Who knows maybe we will even finally be free from celestia!"

Your face melted into a warm smile with a glimmer of hope

"Maybe,,, That would be nice I guess"

Time skip~ 

Screams filled your ears, screams of fear, terror, sadness, all too much for you to handle

With your weapon in your hand you charged through the skies with your anemo vision in your hand gripped tightly

The sky was red. Dark as if teyvat was nearing the end of its life.

You never wanted to hurt any of Khaenri'ah citizens, but alas it was either that or you take the punishment. Besides the archons will kill them anyways so what was the point of even trying to spare them?

With your catalyst weapon you charged at the city, Khaenri'ah. Not everyone was blamed for the creation of monsters, but with the danger in mondstadt and other nations you had no choice.

You finished a lot of monsters, in matter of seconds. But your power was wearing off.

You look through the distance and all you could see was new abyssal monsters coming towards you.

You clothes were torn, blood was all over your outfit, the blood of your victims and yourself. Archon or not everyone has their limit and it seemed like you reached yours.

When the abyssal monsters finally reached you, you were already hunched over trying to breathe. Too weak to keep on going.

You gather all your strength before holding your ground once again.

You wanted to find venti make sure he was okay. So that you can make it out with him. But fate had other plans. An arrow pierced your shoulder, then another in your stomach. Wounds just kept appearing on your body, it was like a message from celestia. A message saying "You must die".

You fell to the ground too weak to even stand up. All you could hear was the sounds of fighting, screaming, crying. And the sound of the Anemo archon screaming.

Your eyes slightly open up, a second before, you were expecting something to stab you again. Maybe more pain. You didn't know what you excepted anymore. But when you opened your eyes to the scene, all you saw was the abyssal monsters on the ground turning to ash.

And Venti, Lord Barbatos with terrified eyes, frozen in place looking at you. Venti quickly ran towards you tears flowing down his cheeks

"Y/n! Stay with me okay dove? Come on.. t-these wounds...Archons! I said I would protect you..."

Venti stammered out words while holding you tight.

You reached out your hand with a small smile. The same smile you would always give him when he played jokes on you or he gave you hugs and kisses on the cheeks...But now it was sad, like a forever goodbye...Now dying..

"Venti..don't cry,,,Archons are not invincible you know?,,Guess I went overboard" You say with a small chuckle before coughing up blood.

Venti looks at you horrified. Memories pass by him. The memory of His dear friend, the nameless bard dying in his arms is so clear again. He buries his head in your neck tears streaming down his face non-stop.

"W-why is it always others,,,and not me y/n? Your going to leave me too,,,aren't you? please.."

You chocked out some words trying to grab venti's hands.

"Venti ,,,please don't cry over someone like me,,,, I'll always be with you with the wind,...remember alright?"

With that a few seconds later your hand lands on the ground with a thump as venti slams his fist on the ground breaking down completely. Emotions from pain finally being let out. 

A few minutes later he grabs your hand and gently kisses it as he gets up with his bow and arrow...But now with lifeless eyes. Sparks gone, He mumbles gently with the small flower you gave him before your passing.

"Y/n,,I will let all of teyvat know your gentle soul,,,and please wait for me my dove,,"

~ Muichiro did not have to care about dangers that much anymore, I mean Muzan was defeated and the small amount of demons that survived was hardly any threat. And you were next to him safe and sound, silently making a flower crown.

“Here Tokito-kun its for you” You say as you gently place the crown on his head.

Muichiro smiles softly, a rare sight since the battle.

“Looks nice,,,like you” he mumbles while touching the hand-made crown gently, as if afraid to break it. Tracing every pattern.

You smile in return, staring deep into the sky, your eyes slightly down. You look away before speaking

“How’s the other Hashira’s?”

Muichiro looks at you his faced filled with curiosity, you were here alive, next to him in the demon slayer corps. Why would you ask such a question if you could meet them yourself?

You stare at his confused and silent expression before chuckling with a sad smile forming on your face.

“Tokito-kun,,You know what answer that question next time” 

You stand up holding your hand out to Muichiro

“For now you need to wake up”

Those were the last words from you before Muichiro pratically jumped up on his bed in a cold sweat.

(In the afternoon) Mullet was walking down the streets trying to find a safe place to hide after stealing from a street vendor, and oh boy he was tired of this life,,,

Mullet after being kicked out by his own family, he has learned to steal and live by himself in Agrabra.

Ofc a wanted criminal for stealing. He has to hide almost 24/7 and who knows what happened to His own brother?

After slowing down the pace from running Mullet fixes his vest and looks around to make sure he is safe from the chase, eating the bread he just stole.

He is about to go back to his hideout on top of a building, but while walking his hat falls off and lands in a small puddle of water.

Reaching down he picks it up but cannot help look down at his own reflection,,,of what he become.

He stares at the water thinking about the day it all went wrong. He can remember it clear as day. The day when he accidently ruined not only his but also his brothers life.

He thinks about how Stanley could've have his dream job, to finally work for The sultan but no,,,He had to ruin it. Staring at his own reflection, Mullet was lost deep in thought not even noticing the small tears in the corner of his eyes.

Mullet Stands up slowly but still cannot get these thoughts and feelings out of the way...How long has it been since he felt guility to the brother that left him? Left him alone to fend?

Shaking out of his trance Mullet gets up and dries his hat, as his legs carried his body. Walking slow back to his house he thinks,,,that maybe one day he can face his brother and make things right,,,maybe its his somewhat hopeful heart thinking that or his daydreams stuck in his brain...whatever it is, for now he will just have to live this life in Agrabra.

-He will not like you at all the first time you meet him. He will give you glares and turn away from you most of the time since he thinks you are weak and that you will fail on your first ever mission-

-I feel like after a few months he will start to get used to your presence and invite you to meet with him and misturi (You will 100% be besties for ever with mitsuri.)

-If you are a girl I feel like he would dislike you slightly more because of his family, but in the end I feel like you two are going to be the sunshine little sibling and serious, annoying ass older sibling. if you are like obanai and is a big meanie- You will be the perfect duo LMAO

-If you are a boy I feel like if your happy and jumpy then he will be annoyed a LOT. If you are serious like him you two can be the scary ass duo who people fear in all the estate-

-You would be bff with kanao (maybe even help kanao express feelings!)

-He would see you as a younger sibling and 100% make sure you look flashy in battle js like him </3

-Feel like he would be more like a "father figure" since he is older then most of the hashiras and since he was a kid care taker in a orpanage

-He would introduce you to genya since genya is one of gyomeis trainees

-genya would be friends with you because of gyomei <3

-If you get hurt Gyomei would make you rest for a few days and make sure he teaches you all of the fighting style he knows

-since he lost his "childern" from a demon attack he would shield you in battle and make sure you dont get hurt

-you might be his top priority since he "sees" you as a sibling/child to him

-He would make sure you are feeling okay 100% before letting you train

-overall you would be protected A LOT <3

Rengoku Kyojuro:

(I dont know a lot about him since Im not interested in his character but oh well </3)

-The first time Rengoku met you he immidently introduced you to senjuro and mitsuri

-senjuro sees you as a sibing figure and so does rengoku

-mitsuri will be one of your closest friends

-get ready for a LOT of praises from rengoku and mitsuri

-senjuro and you would be the innnocent but devil duo Lol

-If you get injured in battle, rengokus smile and happy demour would be gone,,,make sure to pray for the demon that hurt you-

-Rengoku would buy you LOTS of things and even introduce you to his father

-suprisingly his father wont be mean to you but still would be strict </3

-Get ready for giant meals with rengoku and mitsuri, sometimes you wonder how they can eat so much T^T
