I don't like to talk about my sob story on the internet but I may be in need of dire help. To sum it up, my grandmother died in January unexpectedly. The house i currently live in was owned by her and her husband and when she died the deed to the house went to her husband, my step-grandpa. Apparently, my step-grandpa Died three weeks ago, and his sons decided to only tell me this now along with basically an eviction notice. We cannot contest this. I am disabled and live with my mother. She makes decent money but due to me only working part time I cannot help much with trying to find a new place to rent. They will not let us attempt to buy this house and refuse to let us rent it any longer. I need to find a new job, and I will be working on it, but I may need help with securing a place. I've never done this before and I don't really know where to begin but if you see this post please boost. I am not fully relying on the kindness of strangers but I feel hopeless. I have to my knowledge a month and a half, but that time may be less depending on their mood. (4/17/25)

Kluwe was there to specifically protest the installation of a [massively cringe] pro-Trump plaque. Per ABC News: "Kluwe, a Huntington Beach resident, was protesting the council's decision to place a plaque commemorating the public library's anniversary. The plaque included the words "Magical Alluring Galvanizing Adventurous," an apparent nod to President Donald Trump's Make America Great Again slogan."

Kluwe was not just arbitrarily hauled off by cops for speaking out against Trump. If you watch the video until the end, you'll hear him announce his intentions to engage in the "time-honoured American tradition of peaceful civil disobedience." From there, he defiantly approaches the stage where the seven [aforementioned cringe, right-wing lunatic] Huntington Beach City Council members are all sitting, knowing full well that he is about to be arrested and charged with disrupting an assembly.

Thanks to this deliberate act of protest, some of Trump's 24/7 news blitz will now be interrupted by images of a former NFL player being carted away by a gaggle of dour looking cops:

(this is a good thing, if that's not clear; I feel like too many people have forgotten about the tactical use of arrests by activists, especially during the Civil Rights era, to highlight injustice or disrupt a media narrative)

Hey y'all, didn't expect to post again on here so soon, but unemployment is severely fucking me over again. I was expecting to get paid into March, but earlier this month they denied my claims and I am awaiting a hearing date to appeal their decision (again).
