Imagine someone threatening you in front of Dean
You were on a supply run with Dean. You two aren’t getting anything too crazy, just food, medical supplies, and, of course, the usual alcohol. The store you were in had a little area dedicated to seasonal decorations. You noticed it as you and Dean were passing it to get to the medical supplies that were two aisles over. It was August which meant fall and Halloween items were starting to come out for the season. The boys never decorate or do anything fun during the holiday season, but at least this year, you wanted to try to do something small in the bunker.
“Oh, babe can I look at the fall decorations really quick?” You look at him giving him the best pout face you can manage. He looks at you, rolls his eyes, and then kisses your forehead.
“Okay, fine, but nothing too big, I’ll grab the wraps and bandages we need.” You smile from ear to ear as he goes down the medical aisle and you start to browse the decorations. You look at all the cute ceramic decorations, leave theme, pumpkin theme, and some of the Halloween decorations they already have out.
While looking at a tabletop display, a man stands close to you from behind you. You try to move to the side, but he follows your step. When you were about to turn around to confront him, you felt the tip of a knife poking your back. He starts to speak low.
“You are going to follow me nice and easy out now.” You stay calm and collected.
“My boyfriend is two aisles over. It will turn into a really bad day for you if you don’t leave me alone.”
“Nice try; move your ass unless you want me to cut on that pretty face of yours after I force you out of here.”
“What the hell did you just say to my girlfriend?” You hear Dean say. Both you and the man turn around to look at Dean. He looks dangerous. The hard eyes he gets when hunting are the same eyes he gives this man. The man with a knife to you was not tiny, but he wasn’t a vast guy either- he was just average, but Dean could easily take him, especially with what he does for a living, and must fight almost every day. The guy is speechless, obviously not believing when you said you had a boyfriend here.
“Uh, nothing, we were just talking.” The guy stumbles out.
“What I heard is that you were threatening to cut up my girl’s pretty face. Is that what I heard?” The guy, intimidated by Dean, doesn’t reply to him; he stares wide, not knowing what to do in this situation.
“Sweetheart, come here,” Dean says, eyes not leaving the guy that threatened you. You walk to him, but the guy is not attempting to stop you. Dean holds out the bandages to you.
“Go take these and check out. We will go somewhere else for the food. Here are the keys; wait for me there.” You don’t say anything; just nod your head. You start walking away when you hear Dean's punch. You turn your head back but keep walking.
You see the guy on the ground, nose bleeding. Dean has two fists full of his shirt holding him up, and you see Dean dangerously close to the man, no doubt telling him threats that Dean knows he will act on. You turn back to finish heading to the checkout, letting out a little smile.
