Blueberry Cheesecake Danish Green Tea
Our Tea of the Week for the Week of September 9, 2013
This week's tea is a revisiting of our very popular (and just re-blended (again)) Blueberry Cream Cheese Danish, this time with a green tea base. We used premium Young Hyson and Chunmee green teas with freeze-dried blueberries and organic flavors to make this delicious tea. Don't miss your chance to grab a pouch of this before it's gone. (I made a little extra, but it won't last long.) Also this week, we've reblended our Weeping Angel and Banana Pudding teas. See everything we currently have in stock HEREÂ

I hope you will check it out and consider contributing.  We also need your help spreading this campaign to the four corners of the Internet.  I don't want to be a pest, so I will keep future posts limited and try to share more with each new Tea of the Week announcement over the next 60 days of our campaign.  But I appreciate you all understanding if I get a little extra zealous about this project over the next 60 days.  And I really appreciate your sharing our posts with your friends, family, co-workers, strangers you meet on the train or bus...
Anyway, here is the link. Â Please check it out and share it.

Gingerbread Smoke: A NOS4A2 Tribute
Our Tea of the Week for the Week of August 12, 2013
BIG announcement later this week. Weâre going to be launching our Indiegogo crowd-funding campaign to raise the capital we need to bring back Zoomdweebieâs Tea Bar. I hope you will all stay tuned and help us out with your contributions and with sharing the campaign for us. We have some AWESOME perks set up for it. You wonât want to miss out on them. As for this weekâs Tea of the Week, I think this is the tribute blend I should have done months ago when I released the Inscape blend. Inscape was maybe a bit too deep and complicated, whereas this one gets right to the heart of the (dark) matter. If you havenât read Joe Hillâs new horror novel NOS4A2 (think Nosferatu), youâre missing out. This weekâs blend attempts to capture the essence of the insidious Gasmask Manâs terrible gingerbread smoke, which he uses to daze and sedate his victims. The tea is a blend of our premium black teas, ginger root pieces and just a hint of smoked lapsang souchong. It tastes a bit like the gingerbread cookies my mom used to make (she had a habit of burning cookies, but donât tell her I said so). Get yours today atZoomdweebies.com! NEW Tea of the Week! BetTEA's Blend
Our Tea of the Week for the Week of August 5, 2013
Well folks, I have been busier than a one-legged man in a butt-kicking contest lately, working on piecing together all the various bits of our upcoming crowd-funding campaign to bring back Zoomdweebie's Tea Bar. I confess, I am a little behind on orders, but will be caught up soon. My friend Betty here was kind enough to help me out with creating this week's tea of the week, because I think my brain went on strike. Well, she said she wanted something fruity, something light and refreshing and something calming. Bit of a tall order, but I think y'all will agree that we hammered out the perfect answer. BetTEA's Blend is a honeybush base with mostly organic pear flavors, with just a hint of vanilla, an even smaller hint of chamomile and some blue cornflowers to make it pretty. I have a feeling this one is going to go fast. Get yours today at Zoomdweebies.com! Just $8.99 including shipping to the US! Find all of our currently available inventory HERE
Our Tea of the Week for the Week of July 1, 2013
Following the success of our Razzleberry (Raspberry & Blackberry) blend and iced tea, I thought we'd give it a try with our genmaicha. And I am not sorry! Here's our toasty Japanese genmaicha considerably cheered-up with the sweet and tart flavors of raspberry and blackberry. This is a unique summertime blend of genmaicha, and the combination of the sea-sprayed Japanese sencha, toasty brown rice and berry goodness makes me think of a picnic on the beach. In other good news, I've changed the pricing structure on our Southern Boy iced teas so that you can mix and match different varieties and still get the volume discount. If you buy four or more Southern Boy Teas, they are 50-cents off each; 10 or more and they are $1 off each. As for this week's tea, if this is anything like our other genmaicha blends, it's going to go fast, so don't delay. Get yours today at Zoomdweebies.com! Just $8.99 including shipping to the US! Gingerbread Coffeecake
Our Tea of the Week for the Week of June 17, 2013
Our cakey- and gingerbread-flavors were getting mixed reviews in our black tea blends, so I decided to give it a try with a lighter base, and oh man, did that do the trick! Hereâs a light, refreshing Young Hyson green tea base blended with cinnamon, ginger and organic flavors like gingerbread, cake batter, butter and brown sugar. I wouldnât normally think to pair something heavy like cake flavors with a green tea, but Iâm sure glad I gave it a shot. This tea is delicious! But then, who doesnât like coffeecake? Even if it does have âcoffeeâ in the name. (I never touch the stuff, despite lots of requests from people for us to blend flavored coffees like we do teas. I would love to do it, but I just canât stand the taste of coffee and I wouldnât want to create products I couldnât sample first and determine whether or not they are any good.) Anyway, THIS is a thing of beauty. I sure hope you all enjoy it as much as I do. Get yours today atZoomdweebies.com! Just $8.99 including shipping to the US! My second tea from 52 Teas and Iâm seriously impressed! I havenât been an iced tea drinker, well ever, because I can never find a good one, but these brew up amazingly. I mean look at that color - You know youâre not getting some weak, watery tea with that deep color!
Like with the Monkey Fart flavor, the Razzleberry is subtle, but completely yummy. Iâve stopped sweetening at this point because the fruitiness is just enough and sweetening took away from that for me.
Iâm officially a lover of the iced teas, now Iâm looking forward to tying the two hot teas I purchased!
You can get your own at: www.zoomdweebies.com
First glass of Monkey Fart tea from 52 TeasâŚyummy! I made per the directions (although I added ice cubes to my pitcher first) and the strength is perfect. The banana flavor is subtle and so fruitilicious! I sweetened with a little Agave nectar too (I like honey or Agave in all teas).
Okay, go browse and find yourself a perfectly yummy and fun tea at www.zoomdweebies.com

New Tea of the Week AND a new iced tea!
Our Tea of the Week for the Week of June 10, 2013
Whatâs the matter? You never heard of Granana? Well, okay, me either. But it sounded like fun and so here it is. Premium shou mei white tea blended with freeze-dried grapes and bananas, and organic flavors. A little sweet, a little tart; a little smooth, a little piquant⌠One thing I can almost guarantee is that you wonât find this blend any where else. Itâs up for you to tell me whether thatâs a good thing or not. =) Get yours today atZoomdweebies.com! Just $8.99 including shipping to the US! We also have a new Southern Boy Teas iced tea to celebrate National Iced Tea Day today. Our unique take on pink lemonade incorporates the organic flavors of lemon, red grapefruit, a touch of raspberry and a smidgen of cotton candy for sweetness. blended with our premium organic black tea, this is pure refreshment. Donât miss out, this and our tea of the week (and a couple of inventory corrections and a reblend of the Lemon Meringue Chai are Available Now!
Happy National Iced Tea Day!
Our Tea of the Week for the Week of June 3, 2013
I love creating new tea blends for our customers; if I didnât, I would just go make a LOT more money being an accountant (and most likely lose my soul in the process). I love that every week I get another chance to create something new, and potentially earn the love and admiration of our followers for something I created. I imagine thatâs kind of what itâs like for a writer. [Brief indulgent aside: Once upon a time, yours truly wanted to be a writer. I wrote terrible science fiction stories and collected enough rejection slips to wallpaper the White House.] So it should come as no surprise that when author Joe Hill became an enthusiastic customer of ours, I kind of lost my poop (pardon my censorship). When he asked me to create a blend inspired by his most recent novel and actually sent me an advanced autographed copy of said novel⌠well, my friends and family can attest, I couldnât shut up about it for weeks. So, NOS4A2 (think Nosferatuâs creepy vanity plate) is about an soul-sucking supercentenarian with an evil car who âsavesâ children and takes them to place called Christmasland where every day is Christmas and soulless children play games like scissors for the drifter. One of the key ideas expressed inNOS4A2 is the concept of inscapes. Christmasland is the evil Charlie Manxâs inscape. Itâs a world of his imagination made real by the sheer force of his (evil) will. Fortunately, there are other, more noble characters in NOS4A2 who have also harnessed the power of inscapes, which power they ultimately wield to wage battle with the dark antagonist Charlie Manx. NOS4A2 is a great ride of a book. Itâs thoroughly entertaining and difficult to put down in its immersive 704 pages. You should head to your nearest locally owned bookstore and get a copy today. Itâs also available on Amazon. But I suppose you want to know about the tea this week. Inscape is my attempt at an artistic interpretation of Joe Hillâs novel. It is dark and mysterious with a roasted South American yerba mate base blended with almond slivers, marshmallow root, licorice root and a touch of peppermint. It is largely flavored with organic marshmallow and maple flavors and the cup tastes mostly like a rich vanilla/maple mate with a whisper of licorice and peppermintâlike the ghost of Christmas, unexpected and strangely haunting. This is MY inscape, my re-imagining of Joe Hillâs novel manifested in reality and poured out for you. I hope you like it. Just $8.99 including shipping to the US!
