ralsei being trans wouldn't really resonate with me that much thematically if it were canon, alot of people seem to think it would be really great representation but in my opinion ralsei isnt really flawed enough to make that an interesting arc for him. it would just kinda come off as unearned I feel??? like, ralsei would be like: "Woah is me, im pretty and perfect but... erm... I have such an inferiority complex, woah is me, I have extremely supportive friends and all but... Im just so heckin' sad!" it feels like it would insist upon itself in this weird way. ralsei is already very feminine and pretty so it just wouldn't have the same impact in my opinion. obviously everybody likes their headcanons, I think ralsei being trans is hecking wholesome and cute, but I wouldn't really want it to be canon because I dont think it would make for a particularly well written character arc. honestly I think jax being trans resonates with me much more because hes flawed enough to make that realization meaningful.
