I want to have something to look back to when Deltarune is finished or a new chapter begins and we leave the old behind.
This includes my thoughts and experiences with the game, and stuff I've been up to in this time frame from one chapter to another 👍

Despite that I don't really ship any of her ships for various reasons, except platonically with Ralsei very few times, It's super fine with me though If your Favorite ship is a Noelle ship, we all Just wanna have fun after all!
I do think now that I should be open about me disliking Suselle and Krusielle. If you like the ships, you are welcome here still, it's just that I have been more vocal about my distaste for it, so just a heads up.

I've been thinking about Noelle's design more because I feel like it's rather unharmonious with the other characters in specific locations, and I find that rather interesting.
When you look at the fun gang, they all look like a unified group because they have major noticable pink elements in their design, and overall are a mix of a dark colour and their main colour.
If you put Noelle in the Group, she would stand out rather obviously.
Her outfit is really plain, doesn't have layering or other details, and her robe only has one colour which is completely white in contrast to the fun gang's darkness.
However paired up with each member of the gang individually as a duo, their design start to feel more connected.
With Kris and Noelle, their colours appear more complementary, and their overall Knight theme matches Noelle's "cleric" theme, since they're both more or less typical RPG classes.
And this is interesting because Susie's and Noelle's colours seem analogous and look quite well together,
But in the lightworld the only real connection between the two is that Susie is purple and Noelle's hair is yellow.
The main Lightners, meaning Berdly, Susie, and Kris, all have rather cool colouring with yellow accents here and there.
Noelle's Yellow, Green, Brown, and Red colourscheme mixes well with kris's as there are many connections, and Noelle's reds provide a complementary colour, and even Berdly and Noelle are a better look together, because Berdly's Coolness balances out Noelle's warmth.
With Susie and Noelle The green and Red doesn't really mix well with Susie's purples.
There isn't that much of a connection between the two, since complementary and contrast wise the Christmas colours are more eye-catching than Noelle's Yellow hair, and the yellow also reads as a rather natural hair colour overall, so it's easier to overlook as a character's main colour, and the green and red mix doesn't leave that much room to be combined with Susie's purples and blues in a harmonious way, since they already provide a complementary colour, and thus a sound colourscheme for each other.
For Susie's colourscheme to work better in companionship with Noelle's she'd either have to do what Kris is doing, and match Noelle's, or contrast her warmness with coolness like Berdly.
However Susie's purples are also rather warm, and the blues are there to balance the purples out a little, so the connection fails there and as already established, Noelle's green and red already have each other, so they don't need to, or can't connect with the purple that much anymore.
Why do I find that so interesting, because Noelle and Susie have done much less bonding in the darkworld, where their colours themes work the best together, while in the lightworld, where they actually connected, their colours themes are the least harmonious out of the light world gang.
I can't really crystalize any specific meaning out of this, I just think it's interesting to think about, and overall, if anyone was to change their colours heme in the lightworld it would be Noelle, as the Christmas theme is a family thing first, and a Noelle thing second.
And then in the Darkworld, I just find it interesting because this kinda shows that Noelle wasn't really designed to be a main party member, even if she's supposed to be a main character, and I think that gives us a bit room to speculate how her integration into the fun gang could go.
Another mini meme I've seen is "where the hell are we, Kris" But it's Noelle asking, and this time we actually know why they are travelling across videogames
Drowning in the darkworld lake actually functions as a game jumping portal
There are a lot of memes I didn't get to yet, but one of the new ones is "Flowery told me"
I really like this one because, even though unintentional, it kinda pokes fun at what happened in game itself, which is having crucial and serious information be already revealed to Susie by flowery.
Since it's a meme, of course here it's just any information, it doesn't have to be serious.

No, but like, this is really wholesome in a weird way only relatable to me.
Like I imagine Ralsei found a book or something about LGBTQIA+ identities and began reading because a lot of the students at that school are lgbt, and then they stumbled across transgender and were like "holy shit that's just like me! And the colours are so pretty too!"

Okay, but what if the similarities between Asriel's younger, and Ralsei's appearance are also kind of a metaphor for the similarities of Undertale and Deltarune, even though they're very clearly both their own thing?

Something that has caught my attention a lot these last few months (and if you've been following my blog for a while, you can clearly see this reflected on my posts lol), is how Deltarune loves playing with and teasing the possibility of Noelle replacing each member of the Lancer Fan Club in different ways— Okay, stay with me, I promise this will be somewhat interesting (?)
Well, my very first example — and the one that people were crazy over last chapter — is Susie. After playing chapter 4 and finding out about The Girl, people started theorizing that Susie may not be her. There are just so many bits here and there, like Gerson telling Susie her role in Lord of the Hammer is the Dragon, or the fact that she's depicted in the prophecy with a sword and not her Ax. This of course, led to people going insane and doubting that she was the actual hero of the prophecy. That's where Noelle walks in. She was the main candidate to play The Girl's part. And there's a fair amount of people that believe in Noelle being the actual Girl. Or at least that she was ment to be The Girl. Weather this theory is true or not, chapter 4 left many doors open for Noelle to play a major role in the Prophecy.
Then, of course, we have my favorite example: Ralsei. You people know how insane I go for Ralsei/Noelle parallels, so I won't go in great detail over every single thing that hints at Noelle and Ralsei being so dang similar. You just gotta trust me when I say they are mirrors and that Toby is keeping them apart for a reason. Anyways, Ralsei's case is terribly interesting for two things — the first one being that the Game has teased the possibility of Ralsei leaving the party in order for Noelle to join, replacing her as the mage of the party. Ralsei's stats can come off as obsolete when you compare them to Noelle's, and they share a lot of the same abilities when fighting enemies. Their arcs as somewhat similar as well, and Noelle's new room in Castle Town is right next to Susie's, while Ralsei's is still apart from everyone else's. But the thing is, not only does the Game itself hint at Noelle replacing Ralsei, but the fandom does this as well!!! Subconsciously!!!!! AND SOMETIMES NOT EVEN SUBCONSCIOUSLY!!!!!!! Sighhhhhh, who would I be if I did not bring up the way this fandom tends to neglect Ralsei's role in the game, her character arc and her meaningful relationships with Kris and Susie? And of course, who better to replace her than her narrative mirror, right? Either way, once you start seeing how this fandom doesn't really give a crap about one of the Game's literal main characters only to replace her with a extremely similar character, you can't really stop noticing it. And I honestly think this is on purpose. To me at least it seems that Toby has prepared the perfect setting for Noelle to kind of replace Ralsei and present it — hopefully — in a negative light. So we can realize how both of them are truly important. Ther has to be a reason they are so annoyingly similar but haven't interacted yet — hell, Berdly has interacted more times with Ralsei than Noelle has! All this surely has to mean something, right??? Right??????
And now it's Kris' turn. This one is a little more subtle, but as we know, a rather constant theme of this chapter has been jealousy, and throughout all of chapter 5 we've gotten some hints here and there that point at Kris being jealous of Susie and Noelle being in a relationship, and Susie slowly replacing them with Noelle. What they don't get is that Susie values her friendship with Kris just as much as she values Noelle's, obviously, but that fear is still prevalent. Kris fears being replaced by Noelle, or even by Susie. They fear falling behind and they fear being unable to have what Susie and Noelle have. They obviously want the girls to be happy and they wouldn't do anything that could intrude their blossoming relationship or jeopardize their friendships, but the feeling is still there. The feeling that because Noelle is here they are not as important to Susie anymore, that they have been replaced by someone better.
And last but not least: people are saying she's going to be the fourth member of the Gang, and I feel the need to remind y'all that LANCER IS THE FOURTH MEMBER AND HE DESERVES TO BE TREATED AS SUCH!!!!!
Anyways this is me pretty much spitting my thoughts here because I cant stop thinking about Noelle and how dang interesting she is (and how I wished they gave her the screentime she desperately needs to grow more as a character). But yeah, Noelle Holiday I truly love you, please do something awesome next chapter. Please gain independence. Please reclaim your agency.
It's quite interesting to me that even now (literally just in the past few hours on this site) we see theories about Noelle existing to fill Ralsei's role because "she's just a better Ralsei" but like. The game has been giving us hints that Noelle is going to be the one overshadowed; Ralsei has gotten several buffs to their heals with a new giant heal spell and two secret boss weapons, and Susie has gotten her own spell that is simply a slightly higher TP cost version of Sleep Mist, Noelle's AoE pacify. People assume that Noelle is there to replace Ralsei, and sometimes Susie, especially with what we've seen in the Weird Route, but perhaps the equation is flipped. Noelle had a gameplay niche, and might be able to fill that if just Kris is nearby, but with anyone else in the mix she is the one who's redundant. In story niche, for now it seems as though she could take the place of Kris or Ralsei, but we're setting up for Noelle to split away from Susie, and she doesn't even know Ralsei. Noelle has zero mandatory interactions with Ralsei, and precisely one optional interaction about her when she's not even present. Now Ralsei's even got a fire spell they might let themself have access to in the future. So... what is Noelle doing here, even? Is she meant to be this red herring? She's been getting too much buildup for that, right?
I can't help but think she herself is going to be the one who feels obsolete, and Chapter 6 might involve the consequences of trying to involve her in the group too fast and how it might break the group apart before she can maybe get integrated into it properly as a fourth member. After all, if Ralsei learns to bend the rules more, that is a possibility. And maybe her being the dynamite that blows the group apart will help her find her own agency, first as an antagonist and then someone who can find something only she can do instead of doing other party member things when she'll be four entire levels behind now.
kinda unrelated , but, I think it would also make the most sense if Noelle's level was still the same as in chapter 2, or at least a little lower than the other 3's
So maybe she kinda has to struggle with that as well
