wall hanging for my brother! naturally dyed with cute, osage, madder, and knotweed. first forray into naturally dyeing things in my kitchen, using a combination of dye techniques and modifiers. machine pieced, hand appliqued and quilted; roughly 15” square. excited to do way more of this kind of thing :')

В природе такое бывает, что, на первый взгляд, непредсказуемые и хаотичные элементы, складываются в ритмический узор. В этой работе мне хотелось предать декоративность, которая собирается из отельных элементов. Беспорядочные ветки и лисья, просветы и негативное пространство меду ними создают паттерн 💚🩷
