I wish they'd focus on the politics more, Voltron is the defender of the UNIVERSE and the pilots are DIPLOMATS. This show begins with the team fighting a corrupt politician that seemingly placed Earth under a totalitarian and militaristic government and the revived tyrant of a destroyed empire that previously enslaved people, destroyed planets, and committed actual fucking bioterrorism with the use of the robeasts. I would've LOVED to see them go more into how those two things happening would've affected the rest of the universe and very specifically Arus.
More focus on the interpersonal relationships of the team. Wdym Keith and Allura have apparently been a couple the entire time??? And then Allura is confident enough to propose to Keith at the end?? Also Lance said that not only does Keith OWN A MOTORCYCLE but Hunk CANONICALLY stinks at bowling... what the hell where was the episodes covering those?? These guys are obviously close friends, but I would love to see it in action, and especially with the cadets involved
More detail in the art style. Man i'm so tired of giving these people space for their organs in every edit, plus Larmina Pidge Allura and Keith are all alien (keith being HALF arusian) and there's no difference between them?? I only add a few more details to show their different biology, but the comics did well in having some wildly differing alien species (and even talked about how the team were mostly humanoid even though they represented the UNIVERSE!!)
