I remember when I used to watch Transformers all day when I was a kid. I would tell everyone I knew how much I love Transformers and how much I love my favorite hero of all time, Optimus Prime. Your voice did not only bring life to the character but also brought a whole new meaning of what it truly means to be a hero. I remember how, despite the difficulties of war, Optimus told me to always be the kinder version of myself. The strength and gentleness you gave to his voice will always be something I will hold onto until the day I leave this earth, serving as a reminder of how someone great once told me to keep holding on to hope.

I must admit that hearing the news of your death brought me and many other people to great sorrow. It was never easy to let go of someone you knew for so long, someone you truly cared about, someone who felt like a father figure to you. But alas, here I am writing this letter for you. I know that I will soon have to move on and continue living my life while it lasts, but I cannot help but feel that there's an empty void forming in my heart after knowing that you left. It hurts, as if a piece of my childhood was stripped away from me. I could try to fill something in this hole, but I'm afraid it would still remain an empty hole.

You were there throughout my childhood. You were there throughout many people's childhoods. And you will still be there for many more people's future childhoods. Even though we are scarred from having to mourn your departure today, your voice will always be remembered for generations. It will be our duty to remember you and pass down our memories of you to the younger generation.

Lastly, I want to thank you for your service. Thank you for the impact you brought to the Transformers community. Thank you for being such a loving soul. I really wished I was able to meet you in person if fate didn't have other plans. So perhaps in another life, hopefully.

Like stars that eventually dim

Souls pass away just as fate has woven

But just like you, stars shined as they lived
