People get to invested in their headcanons and that means when they are proven wrong it means they feel like they’re entitled to say it’s wrong and not canon when it literally is

I head canon Abel as ace (because well I’m Ace and he’s one of my favorite characters) but when the merch says otherwise I’m like “oh okay” and moved on

I’m tired of seeing comments about “no straight men act like that” okay well you’re a misogynist and part of the problem

Can nobody be amazed with how good that representation is that many characters are queer that it’s surprising when a character is straight

Abel x Emily is most likely going to be cannon we have the show and Valentine’s Day merch foreshadowing it regardless of Abel and the fact it is mxf it’s still a queer relationship because of Emily who can literally be anything

(They are probably going to be a Baxter x nifty parallel as they are always next to each other on merch)

And it’s sweet that they are allies and very happy to be there to support (all honesty i am surprised Adam is a genuine ally)

Frankie-sixteen days old was built same time as Clair’s adoption by coincidence has a prosthetic (different ones like in the show can be swapped in and out) is mixed race and nonbinary (made of different parts duh) with way to many hobbies that they can’t keep up with absolutely adores their “big sis” Clare and trusts her advice more than anyone’s

Clawdeen-black creole loup garou from New Orleans grew up with honey swamp her family has lived in New Orleans since forever and are the leaders of the monster community as the founding family of loup garou in the territory

Howleen- clawdeens little sister (basically keep her same as g1) very anxious about losing clawdeen after their big sister clawdia moved for college

Draculra- Chinese Romani adopted by Dracula dosnt have her powers yet and is vegetarian but doesn’t push it on others (she’s friends with twins Rose and Blanche from the g1 books they are the only vampires outside Elizabat not to bully her about her not having powers)

Cleo-still Egyptian wears wigs (she was royal so it’s historically accurate) is the head of drama club (doesn’t do sports so she can keep her organs near by and not risk unwrapping) dosnt get along with nephra

Lagoona-aboriginal and on the swim team vice president of the book club dating Finigin Webber (who’s on the murder ball team and is much better than her ex gill)

Goulia-has kafos on hers legs (ablatory wheelchair user) uses an aac still wears glasses and is on the schools murder ball team (real sport look it up) is the top student is in a online game server with her friend kjersti

Abby-Russian fashion designer gives relationship advice with Cupid in the school paper as the “straight woman” (like in the wdgfil movie)

RobBecca- Indian (from England) has audhd and is on the derby team (she’s also in book club with her gf Elizabat)

Jinfire- Chinese wants to be a c drama actress/director and self produces and stars in her own short c drama inspired one woman shows

Rochelle- French the head of the roller derby team wants to be an architect

Catherine- French is pen pals with Rochelle still in France

Venus- black the third top student and is the head the garden club and student body president

Sarah-Irish traveler in a band (her favorite band is the cranboories lol) the only one that can drive she is also very vocal about the cultural resurrection of the Irish and mending the bonds between the north and south

Elizabat-English Romani is fully blind and uses a tipped cane and has a service dog she’s the president of the book club (her gf robbeca joins) makes sure there’s brail and audiobooks along with regular print she is friends with batsy Carlo as kids they went to the same blind school for vampires

Skeletia-native Mexican (only knows spanish like my long lost bff from middle school miss you soo much girl hope you’re well) the next top student next to Goulia she wants to become a paleontologist (get it? Bones lol)

Spectra-Waisan (English and Japanese) (born and raised in Japan) died mysteriously (like g1) and loves gossip and the supernatural (she was a conduit in life so is weirdly happy to experience both sides) wants to be a detective

kiyomi-Japanese a ghost also loves gossip haunted the school spectra used to attended wants to be a ghost writer

Torilia stripes and the two other ones-honestly no idea just keep them the same as g1 because it’s funny how they are literally criminals but decide to just be bullies for shits and giggles

Twyla- still autistic a hall monitor and is in the board game club her bf is manny tor

Iris dawndander (change the name) -native American (res kid) a deer woman with Eds (a cane and wheelchair user ) and is on the murder ball team with Goulia (has a little sister named fawn like from thirteen wishes)

Jakie lope (from the g1 comics)- grew up in boo Mexico with iris going to the same school they are like sisters and came to monster high together and are roommates she loves sci-fi and believes “if normies exist who says aliens don’t” (haha get it because New Mexico has tons of ufo sightings)

Operetta-has a facial and limb difference she’s blind in her bad eye is in a band with Sarah playing piano

Lorna- from rottland in a band with Sarah and is really really into Shakespeare president of the drama club
