Abbey / Heath

They really grew close and got to know each other when Abbey was giving him private math lessons after classes

On one of their first dates, Heath took Abbey to play mini-golf with him, but she lost her patience and snapped the club in half with her knee. Heath had to pay for the damage.

Abbey isn’t very touchy-feely, but for Heath, she’ll always make an effort.

Strangely enough, Heath is a morning person, while Abbey isn’t.

Heath was the first to see a therapist for his attention issues and receive medication, but later, Abbey agreed to go as well to work on her social skills and homesickness

Heath taught her how to play video games, and it drives him crazy to see that she’s better at them than he is.

One of the hardest things for them when they moved in together was definitely keeping things tidy. Abbey makes lists, and Heath does everything on the fly.

When they argue, they know exactly where to hit a nerve because both of them can be too harsh without meaning to, and they know that’s something they need to work on.

Abbey

She’s the youngest and is very much protected by her family.

Bloodgood came up with the name Abbey. That’s why it sounds so American.

She and her brother are the type to tease and insult each other over nothing, but they’ll go to great lengths for each other if necessary.

She thinks of Marisol as a little sister (even though she’s older than her) and Frankie as a big sister (even though she’s younger), and Lagoona sees her as her little sister (even though Abbey is older).

When they were little, at family gatherings, Marisol and Abbey would regularly put on “shows.” Marisol’s mom still has all the videos, and Mari has promised Abbey she’ll show them on her wedding day.

She thinks of Nora as a second mom but always calls her “Bloodgood.”

During the events of Ghouls Rules, when Bloodgood threatened to “kick them out” of Monster High, that same evening when she got home, Nora found her in the bathroom crying. It was the first time she’d ever seen her in such a state, and she had to comfort her.

In fact, she hates it when people see her cry. She always runs away from the situation when tears well up. The bathroom is her refuge.

She’s much more sensitive than she lets on at first glance. She often cries while watching movies and has a blanket that belonged to her great-grandmother, which she’s always kept.

She has always loved to draw and is very talented. The ghouls were shocked to see how good she was when they opened one of her sketchbooks for the first time, but Abbey doesn’t think her work is on par with the artists considered “stars” where she comes from.

Nora was the one who gave her her first graphics tablet.

She’s a latchkey kid, but she enjoys being alone after a long day of classes to do her homework, tackle a few chores, feed the horses, and play with Shiver, so she doesn’t get bored.

She admits she has a pretty low social battery.

She eats a lot but is quite picky.

The ghouls often have to stop her from eating raw or rotten food because it once led to a horrible incident in the cafeteria.

She loves very spicy food and handles it pretty well.

In the spring, Cupid and Abbey’s show gets canceled because they sound awful due to their shared pollen allergies. Abbey tends to sniff her snot or stuff bits of tissues up her nose, and Cupid is as disgusted as ever.

One of the reasons Abbey snores so much is also because of her hayfever.

Btw, Abbey, strangely enough, loves flowers (read that in a magazine back then).

She’s very talented at most sports and has tried a lot of them, but she struggles more with those involving a ball (or a golf club).

Her favorite movie is 10 Things I Hate About You.

She doesn't like thrill rides or sand.

Her teachers pressured her to pursue a career in math, but it was her parents and friends who encouraged her to study art, to do what she truly loves

Heath

He had flames shaved into his hair and Spider-Man sneakers that light up when he was a kid

Has probably tortured insects with his fire before, just to see what would happen.

He’s broken his right arm and wrist twice while learning to skateboard, and once nearly lost an eye.

He’s the type to send black-and-white filtered Snaps of his hospital wristbands to girls to come off as the mysterious, troubled guy.

He used to make animal noises in class, and not just animal noises.

He likes to wear dresses and skirts because he thinks they look good on him, but he’d rather die than admit it.

He tried smoking once or twice, just for the sake of looking cool.

Worked as a mascot for a fast-food chain. He was the only one who still had energy and didn’t pass out from the heat inside the costume.

Tells everyone his favorite movie is Fight Club, but he was on the verge of tears when the teacher made them watch Good Will Hunting.

Went through a sort of post-high-school slump because he didn’t know what to do with his life, after losing touch with most of his “buddies,” Abbey, and Jinafire.

Realized he REALLY needed to learn to control his powers after he accidentally burned Abbey’s hand

He started working in video game programming, and he also became interested in sound engineering.

He also actually started learning to play the guitar and a little bit of the synthesizer too.

At Deuce and Cleo’s wedding, when they weren’t entirely sober, Heath and Deuce tearfully promised each other they would be godparents to their children. Even when they’re sober, they still feel the same way.
