I remember finding this on a Tiktok account whose source apparently comes from a Spanish magazine?? Basically the English translation (coming from a French person oui oui baguette) is :

" AND THAT WAS ALL FOR TODAY DEAR DIARY, I'LL SPEND THE REST OF THE AFTERNOON WITH HEATH, I MISS HIM SO MUCH ! "

" On the other hand, I miss my beloved Heath Burns, especially his hugs that melt my heart. I'm dying to see him so he can tell about the video game his parents gave him, when he called me to tell me it was his favorite, he sounded like it was about to start a fire from so much emotion!

I found it to be the cutest thing ever and also, this is maybe the only source that most talks about real physical contact between Heath and Abbey other than just holding hands. Abbey, who dares to say that she missed Heath without fear of being judged and she, who is not a fan of the " playing game or pretend" obviously happy to learn more about his video game I- 🥺🤧 I think we can't really consider old monthly magazines as canon but leave me with the few sources we have of them as a couple 🫠

My project revisiting and further modifying Headmistress Bloodgood to match her cartoon design better and give her the ability to dynamically carry her head is up now! This is a very frustrating doll, and I couldn't perfect her, but I still bumped her up a good few notches. Read the revisit here.

MH has so many characters who experience various symptoms that are extremely relatable to people who are disabled or otherwise experience troubles. Robecca's time blindness, Lagoona 's excessively dry skin, Draculaura's aversion to blood to the point of fainting, Clawd's excessive hair loss, Venus's seasonal affective experiences. I wouldn't necessarily say all these characters (along with the many others) are "canonically disabled" - but there's something very fascinating and comforting about the relatability. That even if a character doesn't have your exact diagnosis you can find parts of yourself in them.

Not to mention how EASY it is to get accommodations in MH. There's no fight. You mention you struggle with something and the reaction is almost always "oh really? Okay here's something that may help."

It's all tied to the diversity of monster types and their different needs of course. But it can resonate with people IRL too.

I've wanted to do a video on MH and disability for a while because I think it's really interesting. But I'll probably never get around to it.

Feel free to add any things you've noticed and found particularly relatable.
