I love it!

I think there’s a similar appeal to Nat’s relationship with Steve (including the iconic escalator scene, imagine...). However, instead of a soldier acting as a spy, Peggy is more of a spy acting as a soldier, which is something that Nat can definitely relate to post-Avengers.

Peggy also has that innate goodness to her that appeals to Nat’s need for redemption, so I can see Nat finding ways to insert herself into Peggy's life as a means of eventually becoming friends. Meanwhile, as a spy, Peggy has seen firsthand how morally grey the world is, and although she’d be cautious after hearing all the things Nat has done in the past, I think Peggy would recognize Nat's willingness to be a better person and would want to encourage that.

Another thing they have in common is that both of them are adrift in different ways (Peggy being displaced through time & Nat not really having a place to call home), and I can see them finding an anchor in each other.

There’s a lot of potential in this dynamic!
