Always upset by people who made poetry

That didn’t rhyme.

And now as an adult,

Well, I’m still upset about it.

I watch a movie or tv show and the only couples shown are straight couples. Maybe there’s a mother figure who used to have a wife but the wife is long dead. I find a new game that’s “set in the before times” but it’s like oh… you mean before non white non cis non het non male people had rights. That kind of before.

I hear about a new (new to me) game, like RDR2 because it’s on sale. It looks pretty cool. The graphics are dated and I feel like every game has the same character models somehow, they all look like people from spider man PS2 games. But it looks like you could have fun, do a little escapism, and I wonder what it’s even about and also if you can do romancing. “Yes you can” says one walkthrough site, here are the three women you as a straight male can romance. I check reddit to see if anyone has a better answer. Someone’s asked the question already but it’s met with “jesus you faggots are insufferable can’t you just play the game and PRETEND you’re fucking the other cowboys”, or “which answer do you want to hear that’ll make you NOT buy the game”, “just get the mod (last updated 50 years ago)”.

Or you’re playing one of those kingdom monarchy games where you can 100% have spouses, and should, to build up your empire but again it’s only “the opposite sex. just do it on the down low if you really have to be gay”. I’ve exhausted 20 odd years of my life “pretending” why in the hell would I want to escape to a fantasy world so I can do it there.

Every other game I see that I think I’ll like, I type the same question, someone’s already asked it, and already it’s met with the same backhanded bigoted “just shut up, queer (1k up votes)” bullshit.
