What? NO Why did Duke talked about his life with his owner as if it was a weekend? The old man died and the only confirmation came from a cat who the main characters call a liar.. Oh Yes an a second car with people came in But Its never explained if they are visitors or the owners. So that means all that Duke needs Its to “think his owner forgot about him” to be okay with him being replaced His new owner, wtf he just met her! It would have been great if he had some emotions in there about the fact he lost the man he grew up with and this girl coming in and posibly doing the same ? Like Jessie from TOY STORY, we learn her owner abandon her and we see how she deals with it and how she moved on to accept Andy, But here? Nothing And the bunny at the end.. Years(?) of human hate magically forgotten when a human , who we dont even know Its gonna be a Good or bad owner, more like a STRANGER hugs him . I guess You motives during all the movie meaned nothing if You threw them to the trash … Oh and didnt You friend duck and snake died for your cause ? Who cares! Cause random hug by stranger! Cause forgotten In this movie dogs dont need an actual connection with their human , their motives come and go and if a stranger is nice to You thats enough to send to hell your past
