Actually have the hc that Goose befriended him by lending him music tapes. Mav couldn't afford many of them but Goose had a huge collection, and they have similar taste <3

I think my favourite detail is the little plane wallpaper band! Mav poorly diy-ed it in his base housing... Mav you're going to lose your deposit... (I have not even the foggiest idea of how officers housing works). But yeah. I'm thinking thoughts of Mav who never really had his own room finally decorating in a way that makes him happy. Maybe he found wallpaper that matched his childhood's bedroom before his Ma died. Sorry for that one.

Also seeing new people in the top gun tag for the anniversary is making me so happy, like yessss join ussss....

I gave him surgery scars bc I hc that his arm almost got torn off in his accident, and he had to go through some reconstructive surgery. Maybe he gets nerve and joint pains on a chronic basis and maybe I gave him those bc I'm struggling with those too...
