Honestly, seeing the fandom so united is heartwarming. Even ARMYS, vtubers and other fandom joined in... That's honestly amazing!
The hardest part comes now: not giving up momentum. In come the tiredness, the hopelessness, the frustration at seeing no response...
And yet. Of course there's no response. Infold has already made a hasty decision - the one that sparked this reaction in both global and cn fandom. It seems they've learnt one lesson at least: not act in haste.
There's also the very real possibility of a change in management - they might be in the middle of transition rn, or the new management is more cautious.
In any case, erasing a Li was utter madness, I think it's gonna take time reverse course again. Especially because
a) Valko might have been offed as a sacrificial lamb (wolf?) to show goodwill (?) to the Powers that Be - of Infold own volition. This is the best case scenario, it means that they can reverse course fairly easily - though they still need to figure out how to do so without rocking the boat with aforementioned Powers that Be. Not an easy task, and it will require time
b) the Powers that Be/Big Daddy asked for Valko's cancelation. This is the worst case scenario, because that would be a request Infold can't refuse and no pressure from the fandom can change that. Still, maybe something can be done in this case too - once things have calmed down on the internal politics front. But if this is the scenario we're facing it will take time. Possibly a lot of time
all this rambling to say, I expect we're in for the long game, though how long exactly is impossible to say atm. Could be days, could be months, could be up to a year. This is not to discourage anyone, quite the contrary. Rather, a reminder to be patient, take care of yourself, recharge and don't get burnt out over this. Your health is not worth it - prepare for a marathon rather than a sprint.
A long plan of action makes it harder, yes, but not impossible. Let's see what Infold next moves are and what direction they're going to take. We also gotta keep in mind, if the Big Bosses are truly involved this does not depend on Infold alone, so they might be extra cautious now - this is not an excuse for Infold, just something to factor in our expectations. Valkos erasure was very probably a panic response to a bigger fish closing in on them. Thats the only reason they moved so quickly then - everything else will take time.
I don't expect them to address the Valko situation directly any time soon - but that doesn't mean people should give up. We just.... Set camp here. Make ourselves comfortable. They'll have to address it sooner or later. Even if it's later rather than sooner. As long as fandom makes it clear none has forgotten.
