Today I've ate too many calories and I didn't reach my step goal but I did make myself get up and go out and walk before dark.

Today a guy let me use the squat rack before him even though he had already been waiting over 30 minutes for it.

An elderly gentleman gave up his seat in the jacuzzi so that I could have a go. (My gym has this big jacuzzi with these two special recliners, he gave me a seat in the only working one)

The woman behind the deli gave me extra toppings for free because ‘they were only going to be thrown out anyway’.

The woman at the counter let me away with 11cent (not a massive amount but still) because I was short it. Even refused when I eventually found more change in my bag.

The woman ahead of me in the coffee shop paid it forward and bought my coffee for me. Of course I continued it and paid for the guy behind me but still.

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again people are always too nice to me. I don’t deserve any of this. It’s all very bullshitty and new age-y but I do believe you should be the kind of energy you want to attract to your life. Like be the change you want to see in the world. Idk. I’m working on being positive.

You don’t ever have to feel guilty about removing toxic people from your life. It doesn’t matter whether someone is a relative, romantic interest, employer, childhood friend, or a new acquaintance - you don’t have to make room for people who cause you pain or make you feel small. It’s one thing if a person owns up to their behaviour and makes an effort to change. But if a person disregards your feelings, ignores your boundaries, and “continues” to treat you in a harmful way, they need to go.
