I decided to continue with fantasy after all, but on a softer easier read.

The beginning was a bit hard to get into, lots of fantasy books are like that though, but I ended up really liking this one! (If Cardan is the love interest I really hope he apologizes and grovels before Jude and I hope Locke gets punched in the face.)

I am not quite done with the book, I am savouring it because non of the libraries I am signed at has the rest of the series available 🙃

I have just finished the poppy war, I enjoyed it far more than I thought I would, but I also thought it was a bit long at some moments and had to take breaks often.

I will wait before reading the second one, I’ve been reading a lot of fantasy and as much as I love the genre I want to go explore other themes a bit :)

After taking a hiatus from the book I finally finished it…

I started ‘An Adventurous Life’ by Valerie Taylor last summer, after falling in love with this sweet lady in the documentary about her and her husband ‘Playing with sharks’.

Valerie takes us through her memory and her many diaries on the story of her life and how she came with her husband to center it around sharks. Valerie is really a strong role model for me and after finishing the book I know that I just need to close my eyes and imagine it and I will be with her and Ron diving somewhere off the coast of Australia.

I recommend this book for women of any age aspiring to work in marine conservation:)

This book has ripped my heart out and I will think about it forever…

The pace of the second book in this series did feel more slow, the focus in the beginning being mainly on the politics and the fallout of the events in the first book. It took me a bit more than half of the book to really get into it (that is a lot on me though with the huge time gap in between my reading of the first and second book).

But otherwise, Sunbringer really extended the Godkiller universe and it kept me on the edge of my seat towards the end. It was a good book, the series is really worth reading as a whole so far.

I’ll try to do most of my study in french though (it is my first language) I need to practice it for my french test at the end of my college course. I need to pass it if I want to get my diploma.

I signed up for a diy natural pigment class two weeks ago, forgot to share the picture.

I have been obsessed ever since! I looks at everything in nature wondering what colour it makes. Same with fruits and veggies at the grocery store to be honest.

I BOUGHT A VAN!!!! Its converted inside and I love it!! 🥰
