Inspiration Comes From Anywhere

The flames danced along the edges of the dreamscape void. Ford knelt, one hand pressed against the crumbling ground while the other gripped his gun tightly. Rocks skittered across the dissolving surface beneath him.

“Still fighting, Sixer?” Bill Cipher's voice echoed from above. The triangular demon floated menacingly overhead.

“You won’t have my mind, Bill,” Ford snarled, gritting his teeth.

“Oh, but I already have a piece of it, don’t I?” Bill's form flickered. “All those secrets.”

Ford lunged forward and fired his weapon, but the shot zipped through the air and missed the demon. In response, Bill unleashed a brilliant blue beam of energy. He cackled triumphantly. “This is my playground now. Your little zap-gun won’t save you from me.”

“We’ll see about that, you one-eyed menace!” Ford roared, preparing to take another shot as the heat of the fire scorched his face. The ground beneath him seemed on the verge of collapsing entirely.

Originally, this was meant to be a just a sketch, but I ended up going all out on and fully coloring it. This was meant for a longer story, but for now, it is just a piece of artwork.

I know the LGBTQ+ community is VAST, I understand that personalities vary from person to person. But wow! Apparently, to people like @oilith everyone on the internet HAS to know the gender and/or pronouns of EVERY SINGLE LAST PERSON on the internet! 🤣🤣 Mistakes happen, sweetie, no need to flip your freaking lid.

My good friend @purringcatz has deleted their post and even told me that she apologized to oilith for the misunderstanding and mistake, but for @oilith to get SO upset over a common mistake? Really? Not everyone is going to know your gender or pronouns just by looking at your profile name or whatever.

I've been mis-gendered many times, did I cause a stink? No. Did I throw a temper tantrum? No! I thought, "Hey, this person doesn't know me personally, they're just on the internet like everyone else. It's fine."
