I have to sit with it a bit more to come up with a decent opinion of it. I don't know if I loved it per se, but I found it very intriguing. the writing is marvelous.

little women
I resonate with the novel, especially with Jo and her lively spirit.
I don't think it was necessary for her to get married in the end; however, I respect that she chose to marry when she wanted with whom she wanted. someone who didn't force her to change her personality or dreams.
I didn't like Laurie and Amy marrying. If you can't have one sister you'll just have the other? pretty lame and a tad bit weird.
upon finishing the novel, I felt empowered and comforted. happy to be a woman.
women thrive when they feel supported not controlled and free rather than trapped. the liberty to make our own decisions is a right so many women in the past have fought for; the support we give one another nurtures and preserves that right. something about a story about women choosing their own paths in life is beautiful. womanhood is beautiful. may the universe bless us with her most wonderful ways so we may continue to be marvelous women.
but I wish the universe could bless those women who haven't felt freedom. I want all women to know liberty and know it well. they deserve it. they deserve happiness too.
