I do have one question about the tiny motive au! If we ignore that this takes place after their deaths in the timeline, how would things go if Rantaro and Kaede were still around in the chapter, also with tinies? My favorite character to see in g/t is Rantaro tbh, especially tiny Rantaro, but its just kinda nonexistent. Since they weren't in the original plan, its totally okay if you dont have an answer or dont want to answer this one! But I figured id shoot my shot
So here's the thing: I also love Rantaro.
I think in the hypothetical that the tiny motive was the FIRST motive, before the first deaths, I would have so much fun getting to make Rantaro actually important to the plot.
The origonal first chapter sort of hypes Rantaro up as this mysterious figure, and assuming he still gets the 'prize' video that tips him off to everyone being in imminent danger, I think this Rantaro would be incredibly cautious. The moment the motive drops and things start getting tense as the vulnerability of it all sets in, I can see this Rantaro actually backing up Kaede and taking a more group leader role, keeping everyone calm and trying to come up with a plan to keep the tinies calm and unharmed while they figure out how to leave. Because of that, and because he'd have to get others to start relying on him to make any progress in this, I think he'd end up as sort of a group big brother/camp councler vibe, checking in on people, making sure everyone's safe and secure, delegating people to different tasks (korekiyo and Tsumugi coming up with items for tiny alternative uses, Keebo and Miyu coming up with some way to communicate, ect).
So, yea! I imagine Kaede taking charge, and when Shuichi is too shy to speak up, Rantaro being the first to back Kaede's calls (Their tiny counterparts taking up the same roles!).

Oh man, this question hit me.
Honestly, I still love G/T, and fake motive AUs, but my interest in DRV3 has very much diminished over time. I made the Tiny Motive au straight off the back of finishing the game, but now ive gotten the chance to step back and look at the whole franchise, and to me Drv3 just hasn't stuck with me in the same way that Dr1 and Dr2 have (especially Dr2, god I love that game).
I could definately see myself moving the g/t Motive concept to Dr2 for a new au some time in the future, but as for the Drv3 Tiny Motive au, I dont think I'll be continuing it in any serious capacity.
Sorry to those who enjoyed it, but I openly encourage anyone who liked the au or idea to roll with it and continue it their own way, or make their own Tiny Motive au! This fandom is full of cool creative people, and honestly im sure someone else could do a lot better lol.
As a little parting gift for those interested in how I had planned it to go, here's some hilights of how it was going to go below:
-Shuichi's tiny breaks a leg by entirely preventable circumstances, and Tiny Kokichi feels immense guilt over it because he has no idea of his big did it on purpose.
-After a bit of confusion as to why the tinies seemed to be acting... uncharacteristic, Monokuma was going to supprise everyone with the information that the tinies werent perfect copies. Their emotions, and the most exadurated and volitile parts of their personalities had been turned up a bit. It wouldnt make much difference now, but it would start to get worse with time, making the tinies more unpredictable, and therefore, more of a danger. This was gonna be the pressing time limit to fix the situation.
-Because of these exadurated traits and feelings, Tiny kokichi was going to become very attached to Shuichi, and very volatile in terms of how he acts on that. Tiny Shuichi was already visibly more anxious (hehe If you look back at the old stuff, you can kind of tell) but was acctually going to get more competent, since thats the part of his personality hes most unsure about. This was definately going to make Kokichi more curious about the real Shuichi.
-Gonta was going to eventually provide everyone with nice little bug enclosures for their tinies (controversial among some, but ultimately safer in the later days). I love my helpful boy.
-kaito was going to continue to be stupid and mean well.

After ditching his name after a fire consumed Darkley's Academy, he took on the villain name Darklly to cast away any connection he might have to his legacy as a Garmadon.
His Darklly Persona is fierce, rarely seen, but strikes fear into the few who've seen him. Only Gene and Brad are allowed to see behind his mask.
His Lee Monty persona on the other hand is the lovable regular at every place you could go. He's sweet, a bit clumsy, but a gentle kind soul, who often goes out of his way to help out where he can.

Darklly AU is an au where Lloyd went back to Darkley's Boarding School for Bad Boys and became a real villain. It takes place in ninjago city, several years down the line, when an adult Lloyd (now under the villain name Darklly) is trying to make his mark with Brad and Gene at his side.

If I had a dollar for every au i made where I had Lloyd convince garmadon to his face that his son is dead, I would have two dollars, which isnt a lot but is more than two nickles.
(For anyone wondering why Garmadon wouldnt recognize Lloyd, He hasnt seen him since he was iiiiitty bitty, and this is a lloyd is roughly 16)
That's right I'm still not normal about this scene. What do you MEAN a mentally 10 year old guy who thought he killed his father was stuck in the torture tube, had his life force drained, then had to crawl through a flaming malfunctioning plane as it crashed into the ocean- I need a nap.

In this au, 3 years after what was supposed to be the start of cannon, Brad is acctually the one who frees the Serpentine: While out on a patrol, pouting after a fight with Jean, he stumbles across the entrance to the hypnobri. The rest of the Darkleys crew end up in hot pursuit of the Serpentine to find and recover their captive brother.

Wouldn't it be fun to still hear the call of the whispering woods, and have no idea what to do about it?
After a few sleep walking incidents, Lloyd's caregivers at Darkley found an... unconventional solution. Still, being handcuffed to the bed doesn't make it any easier to shut it out at night, so this Lloyd dosnt tend to get much rest.
This idea has been rattling around in my brain where, instead of unleashing the serpentine, Lloyd just gets sent back to school and ACCTUALLY becomes a villain.
(There's also more where he takes over the school and leads the Darkly students as an army with Jean and Brad as his right hand men, but that's neither here nor there :P)
