finally found twilight princess at a second hand vendor during a convention and im just testing it before i return to majoras mask on the n64.

im so ass with swimming in console games. specifically with games where “a button to go forward, use analog stick to change direction” cause “use analog stick to move forward” feels more intuitive and parallels land movement with the analog stick.

is the great bay temple’s fire arrow + ice arrow gimmick the majora’s mask equivalent of the water temple’s kokiri boots + iron boots strat i had to put up with

in the middle of my majoras mask playthrough and thinking about how cool itd be if you could “stack” the non-transformation masks on top of the transformation mask forms.

with how the final ganondorf boss fight is going so far im a little disappointed that nintendo hadnt thought to brand the series ganon tennis instead of mario. cuz when has mario and bowser ever toss a fireball around the way link and ganon rally an energy ball

finished the mask quest in ocarina of time and the existence of both the zora and goron masks in addition to the gerudo mask makes me question whether or not we *could* have seen a potential gerudo link in majoras mask. im not sure how it would fit in practically in terms of the game’s progression and what not (i have barely touched majoras mask) but im wondering if they were considering it.

so anyways im doing a blind playthrough of ocarina of time and its about as funny as it is horribly depressing when you actually think about the situation link is in. (<-ill talk more on that eventually. i think ill probably have more to say when i actually finish the game)
