And what if I said Byler never becoming canon was for the better. Because at the end of the day it led to people coming out of fear of ending up like Mike. Fear of never truly living their lives. Fear of losing themselves. Fear of never loving who they are and who they love. Fear of never loving. I guess moral of the story is to love yourself and seeing someone never come to terms with loving themself can help you learn to love yourself.
And as much as I love and cherish queer representation sometimes queer representation in the form of someone struggling with that part of themselves can help those struggling themselves. Sometimes having something showing what could happen if you don’t embrace this part of yourself can help you learn to love it.
