if yall want more trans rep you’re going to have to get more comfortable with seeing trans people who aren’t fully transitioned and/or don’t pass, just sayin
HELLO TRANS PEOPLE OF TUMBLR! Are you a poc or are you of a culture that hasn’t been portrayed in media for trans and nonbinary people? Well look no further! If you wish to have your trans journey put into comic form to inspire and represent you or your people join the discord below! If your a fellow artist who doesn’t mind working for free and wants to volunteer to do artwork on this web comic project to put out more trans rep then you may also join (yes even if your cis gender!)
Check out the Trans/nonbinary rep webcomic project server community on Discord - hang out with 6 other members and enjoy free voice and text
WE WOULD LOVE YOUR HELP and support ofc DURING THE TIME THIS PROJECT IS GOING ON! there’s no set deadline and as long as you aren’t racist or homophobic or transphobic everyone is welcome!!!!!! Join today!
Welcome to the internet! A large portion of us hate Jax's character and obsessively compare her to other trans characters because we don't like the way she's written! We'll also misgender her numerous times to irritate those who happen to like her character!
Welcome to the internet! We can't accept that like real life trans people, all trans characters experience being trans differently to eachother and can't all collectively live up to our very very very very very very specific standards on how a trans character should be!
Welcome to the internet! We care far too much about whether a character is well written or not! If the writer makes one too many mistakes, or does something with their writing that we personally decide to perceive as bad writing, we'll either harass them or make brainrot memes as a way to boil their characters down to just corny idiots with annoying personalities who don't deserve to have any fans!
Welcome to the internet! [Insert trans character] is FAR better than Jax! We love comparing one character to another without realizing we're accidentally soft launching the belief that trans rep in fiction is a competition!
not enough trans men rep in media so i guess i gotta make my own

If it turns out a character is canonically trans and you have a problem with it for *any* reason, I don't care how much you claim to not be transphobic, just know that I will be side eyeing you very intently from then on. I don't care if the character turned out differently from the version of them you created in your head. Creators know their own characters better than you ever will, and representation is far more important than whatever personal headcanons you might have had.
POV: You’re having a mental breakdown (as a treat). An existential horror game about dragging yourself out of bed.
Back, and now I’m making my own games!! Just teamed up with my partner to publish our first one on Itch. Somehow, the executive dysfunction did not beat me while creating a game about executive dysfunction—a miracle unto itself lol.
Still working on the mod, but now I’m also doing game jams. This one is for O2A2, a minimalist flash fiction jam!
It’s got 1 disabled trans protagonist, 1 sprite, 1 background, 1 musical track, 1 sound effect, 1k words, 1 mental breakdown, and a whole lot of existential dread about dragging yourself to work in the morning.
Pretty proud of what we pulled off with the constraints, on a ten day deadline no less!
thing that shouldn’t be a hot take: cis people should have any say in if trans rep is good
INCLUDING PEOPLE WHO HAVE TRANS FRIENDS OR THOUGH THEY WERE TRANS ONCE‼️
