i love plot so much. i love bearing witness to an unraveling of events. i love seeing characters navigate an intricate world in ways that evolve or destroy them. and as much as i complain about characters going off script, i love letting mine surprise me. it's so easy to lose sight of the fun of writing when you're muscling through its challenges, and i don't think we talk about the magic of discovering your own story nearly enough.
