smiling like a total idiot when she looks at you from across the room. she doesn't even have to smile or give you a little wiggle with her fingers for you to start blushing. all it takes is one little glance and you're having to try and fight off your huge smile while entering a patient's room. you'll see her curly hair from across the room and perk up like an excited dog. she'll come up to you while you're chatting with another doctor, and your voice very noticeably gets higher as you chat with her. everyone teases you for it, especially your own wifey. you just don't know how to act normally around her, she's too pretty to be calm.

baran always makes sure to tell you what a good job you did with a patient. she'll praise your quick thinking, your empathy, your skills, etc. but she'll say, "quick thinking back there, doctor." just something about her calling you doctor gets you all giddy. and the way she says it.....your tail starts wagging so fast.

taking mini breaks that involve her kissing your neck while you tangle your fingers in her hair.

having a quick snack in the break room with her, chatting about whether or not you two should go out to eat or just make something at home after work.

getting scolded by her when you follow her around for too long because you have patients waiting for you >__< groaning and sulking when she shoos you, desperately wanting to kiss her goodbye but you can't...she just squeezes your arm and says, "i'll see you later, doctor," before walking off.

rubbing baran's shoulder when you check up on her, asking how she's doing and if she needs you to get anything for her. baran tugging you to the side when she sees you walking, voice all soft while she checks in on how you're doing. just ughhh...that loving look in her eyes, the soft way she's looking at you while you ramble to her...

getting introduced as her wife sometimes :(( or mentioning your wife to a patient....

you can't help but look up at her for praise after performing a procedure on a patient...

holding hands while walking out of the ED, shoving all your stuff in her car, stretching and groaning in your seat, al-hashimi reaching over and squeezing the sliver of skin peeking out of your shirt.

waiting for her after you get all your stuff out of your locker, leaning against dana's desk while you slowly blink and watch her talk to robby. you're tired and desperately want to go home and cuddle in bed!!! if she takes too long to leave bc she's talking with someone, you'll walk up behind her and whine out, "you're hogging my wife."

getting home and taking a shower together, making love against the cold wall, having a nice dinner afterward, and then going to bed :p

i just know he thinks pete being bitchy is peak comedy. bonus: toughest guy in the world eventually lets you see his softer side
