It’s water soluble canvas!

I basted it loosely to the fabric and when I’m done I’ll just dunk the whole thing in water and leave it to soak until it dissolve.

The only downside is that it only comes in one size and it’s fairly rigid so on big project it can ends up bunching up weirdly.

Already a few dozens hours in (and about as many poked fingers) and I really like it so far.

The original art is @cloudmancy ´s work! Gotta love finding other people already brain rotting on my new obsession!

Big thanks to @mightier for letting me use their art again, now I just have to stretch it and find a frame that’s the right size.

New cross stitch project, this time quite a bit smaller than what I usually do.

Progress has been made! It’s always so nice when it get past the halfway point!

After more than a year and a half, it’s finally finished! I’m really happy with the final result, and now I only need to clean , stretch and frame it. I spent so much time on this, I celebrated the end by splurging and buying four keycharms by @mightier , the original artist of the illustration used for this piece.
