HIIIII!!!!

I have noticed their are barely any headcanons about Date Everything.

I'm a personal fan of the trope of the OG! Homeowner in the Hate Route moving out of the house and the New Homeowner ( reader ) moves in.

There is so much potential in this Fandom.

There are over 100+ characters to write about.

Hector being a little upset with himself for not being at least a little spiteful with the Player, and taking it out on the Reader when they move in. Maybe you can’t change the temperature, and it fluctuates randomly throughout the day or on different times of the week?

When he follows the player around the house, he starts to realize they aren’t as malicious as he thought and starts to fall back into old habits… Suddenly he starts to care about the Reader and his operating system (or whatever the heart equivalent of an HVAC is) starts to pause just a millisecond, stopping its hum before starting again…

When he realizes this, he starts to feel bad about the way he treated the Reader, and isn’t sure where to go from there (and neither do I because this is all I got for him lol).

Unrelated Thought: Despite Sofia’s forceful approach with dom/sub roleplay stuff (immediately insulting you first sentence you meet her), I like to think outside of the dominatrix thing, she’s fairly nice to the attic dateables. Maybe she’d talk to Hector, respecting his boundaries and all, and just being there to make sure he’s doing okay. He’d tell her about his feelings towards the homeowner and she’d have to lecture him so he’d tell the Reader.

Parker, I think would be kind of funny. Since any relationship with him is RNG based, I like the idea that the Player might’ve cheated once on accident, and got unlucky (a la, Blake Jennings, or literally anyone else.) Although, the way the Player treated everyone else definitely contributed something to make him think it was more of a saving throw…

Maybe the Reader has friends come over and drag out good old Parker Bradley for some fun, dusting him off and even having some new games in his roster? I think it’d be cute if the Reader leaves him in the living room or their bedroom closet, assuming he’ll get more uses later, and saving time to get him. He could actually make some friends!

While any relationship with him is up to fate, he starts to think more positively about the Reader. Maybe he’s playing games with Betty, Diana, and Teddy, telling them about how long it’s been since he left the attic, and how nice it is to have relationships… and before he even realizes it, he’s wondering what relationship he’ll get with the Reader. Maybe he’s hoping they’ll be more than just friends…

Unrelated Thought: I think it’d be funny if Parker somehow ended up with a Hate Relationship with Betty, but got a Love/Friends Relationship with Ben-Hwa. There’s some funny relationship dynamics here I need someone to explore. Also, I like to think Sofia misses him because she thinks Monique needs someone to talk to that isn’t her, even though she clearly doesn’t like him.

Getting room specific… What if the office dateables (including Lux because they don’t have friends and they want drama) went to G&G with Chance (or just grouped together and dragged him into this) and they talk about their thoughts on the Reader?

Maybe despite the lack of confidence, Penelope has hope about them (actually using her for a variety of things around the house), and Jerry reminds her that all the Player did to her was insult her after she got dumped a billion times on dates SHE scheduled, while they got rid of everything HE owned (apparently there’s a Hate ending where you give all of Jerry’s stuff back to their owners, Celia rewards you, and Jerry LOATHES you… take that as you will).

Maybe Mac is annoyed to be a part of this conversation, because everyone assumes they have it better than all of them because they got something out of it. Then they have to explain why the upgrade the Player gave them was so important when it allegedly did nothing (I’m sure there’s a metaphor about disabilities somewhere…). Then someone mentions them wanting to see other people after getting said upgrade, and being bitter that they left… and then Lux jumps in to defend them, because computer… lamp, light… and they follow it up with “I knowww I’m just so nice…”

Maybe Lux is being a little nicer to the other Dateables because of the way the Player treated them, and like… everyone hates the Player already, so why not be nice just to make themselves look better (even though the Player has been gone for a while now)? Maybe they’re a little selective about it, but they’re more willing to make a statement every here and there just to look cool. Even if it’s the dumbest thing anyone has ever heard (I dunno, I like the idea of Lux having more character than just mean they/them twink, even if they’re still mostly superficial).

Maybe Dasha’s there to keep everyone from arguing who’s got it worst, mentioning that the Reader hasn’t done anything yet and they shouldn’t jump to conclusions. Meanwhile, Chance is offended they used G&G as an excuse to get together and talk about the Player and the Reader when he was trying to scribble together a campaign with about five people since they got together.

I think for certain characters like maybe Washford, Zoey, or Bathsheba(?), since it’s easy to get (or accidentally get) their Hate Endings, there should probably be some nuance in how they got them?

I like to think Chance doesn’t have much of a grudge against the Player for rejecting his offer, but still doesn’t like them for how they treated the other dateables (or maybe he does, he’s just good at pretending he doesn’t)… but Zoey and xxXShadowL0rd420Xxx are extremely offended by their actions, and maybe stir up a bit of trouble with the Reader just to be petty. Shadow Lord comes to Zoey in the attic, and they scheme together, unknowingly starting a friendship they’d never have otherwise. (Rejection = Instant hate ending)

Maybe one of their first dateables to be awakened was Bathsheba and the player thought they were doing what they were supposed to? When they realized they messed up, they moved on to characters like Harper and Dirk, trying to talk some sense into them, just to bring them closer together by teaming them against the Player? (The “good” choice is to enable them)
