The chiming of a bell sounded throughout bar causing some to crane their neck to the body stepping through, and one certain head seems as though they couldnāt tear their gaze away. Dimļæ¼ lights flickered like candles as soft murmured of laughter and conversation bubbles among the crowd. However, the stench of alcohol and the staggering bodies of intoxicated individuals kicked out the somewhat homey atmosphere it did possess and brought you back to reality.
ļæ¼Y/n glance around eyes low, scooping out the scruffy place before making their way to the bar area. A certain pair of turquoise ļæ¼eyes trailed after you, gaze scanning over the other figures before they go back to their own glass of liquor in front of them. Y/n takes a seat a few chairs down from mysterious ebony-haired male, face filled with boredom as that wait for the bartender. Like daggers being thrown to them, the lanky build man kept throwing glances to then, slow driving y/n into a sour mood.
āYou're going to keep staring or do we have a problem?ā Y/n growled to him, eyes turning to slits as they glance back to the other. A deep chuckled followed their response and he turned to face them, a lazy smirk hanging over his face. His skin was brunt to crips under his eyes down from his bottom half of his face down to his chest. The white shirt slightly dangling just below his chest, giving prying eyes a sight to see. Even over his arms the skin was darkened and being held firm by stables. Those dead, tired turquoise eyes gazing back over them had y/n squirming slightly in their seat. He wasn't, by all mean unattractive, however; he had such a spin chilling aura around him that made the hairs on y/n neck stand.
His bored gaze racked over their body before he picked up his glass and took a long sip. āCute.ā He sneered, setting the cup down and leaning over the bar counter as he stared back. You scoff and leaned over the counter as well supporting your face with your hand as you turned the other way. āDamn creep.ā You thought while playing with your hair. After a pregnant paused you threw a quick glance to him, catching the stranger staring holes into your figure. Glaring you smacked your lips and sat up, āThe fuck your problem.ā You snapped, he rolled his eyes and nodded to the bartender who sat a small glass in front of you.
āYou got quite the temper for someone who looks more nervous to be here then anything.ā You held your tongue, as heat rush to your cheeks and turn away from his powerful gaze. Amusingly he nodded to the tender as they walk away and he sips the last few drops in his glass.
āSo, got a story? Iām down for some mindless babbling if youāre up for a chat.ā He said, clearly drunk from the pinkish hue dancing over the tip of his nose. You raise a brow, questioningly to him, and grumbles, āYouāre clearly drunk, and I donāt want to entertain you.ā You spat and push away the glass.
He seemed unbothered by your response and waved his hand around, āCome on, at least rewind and enjoy a drink. It's the least I can do for a cutie like you.ā he smirks and motions do the bartender to pour him another. The glass did look nice and you truly wanted something to make your mind fog and forget the deeds you have committed for today. You were tired, angry, resentful, and beyond anything wanting a place to fall in, with arms open out welcomingly. Maybe one glass wouldnāt hurt.
It wasnāt long till you and Dabi,(he had given his name after you taken your third shot), were giggling and talking among each other like old high school friends. Flirting being one of the heaviest components in your conversation. āGod your boss sounds like a fucking two year old.ā You cackle as Dabi muffled chuckles followed, another glass was pressed to his lips as he downs his last one for tonight. āWell itās that or back on the streets I go, I rather deal with his stick built ass then bust my ass on the streets.ā He grumbles, grinning to you as your calm down your laughter.
āAh-ah....youāre a...a street rat too.,ā you mumble eyes half-lidded as you try to keep your eyes from caving in. āIām guessing.....I'm guessing you have some.....some demons youāre trying to escape too.ā You murmured, face half-buried into her arm as you placed your half-drunken glass on the counter. Cheeks flushed with steaming heat as you swayed in your seat. āAll my life Iāve been running....running from family, responsibilities, actions. I never really had someone to rely on or tell me Iām doing good or Iām on the right path. Iāve just been ridicule since day one, youāre not pretty enough, smart enough, rich enough, Or enough in general. Hell, even your quirk sucks what can you make out your life you?ā Y/n babbled, Dabi nodded silently listening.
āIām...Iām sorry I didnāt mean to just pour my heart out to you, god I donāt even know you.ā You mumble, face planting into the counter as you shakily take a breath. Your head aching slightly as you felt the sting of the alcohol slide down your throat.
āI mean...I kind of feel the same way.ā He said, eyes glancing back you as he shifted into his seat, āWhen youāre told youāll never be appointed for something, its easy to wallow in it.ā He circles the rim of the cup humming as he stares down at the ice cubes, āMy family, they werenāt the best and my father. He chuckles, āIs a piece of fucking work.ā He gazes over to you sitting up straight as you listen intently.
āBlue demons....ā you murmurs eyes nearly closing on you. He raised a brow over to you with amused expression. āWhat?ā He questioned with a small smile, finding your slouch over and smoosh face cute.
āYouāre...youāre demons are blue, filled with nothing of sadness. They know no other emotion, but hurt and betrayal .ā You babbled under your breath, your eyes finally caving in on you as your slouch back over.
āBlue demons huh?ā Dabi mumbles to himself, watching you fall over and sleep over the dingy oak wound counter. He sighs, āI gotta carry your ass donāt I?ā He questions chucking to himself as you snore and whine under your breath.
Lmao, this took me five straight days to finish cause Iām a lazy bitch š
