It’s that time of year again!!

a gun that moans when you shoot it

Have you ever watched a woman start a bar fight? It looks somethin like this. 5′5 with her boots on getting mouthy with an old miner at the bar. He musta called her “missy” or “sweetheart” and she’s gonna give him hell for it. They’re spittin and shoutin and both daring the other to do somethin about it. Finally he’s gonna slam his hand down on the bar, spillin her drink on her. And there it is. A shot glass flies towards the mirror behind the bar. Somebody screams a curse I’d faint to pronounce. A chair goes through a window and blood spills on the floor. Suddenly a whole room of people are punchin and kickin and raisin hell. And there she is, in the middle of it all. Her eye is already turnin black from where he belted her and she’s got a heavy glass bottle in her hand. She’s got a wild sorta smile on her face. I ain’t worried about her and she ain’t worried about nothin. She’s got a mad sorta look in her eye and blood on her boots. What a woman.
