I think it’s pretty interesting! I do wish the fandom explored it more outside romance tho

I’d really love to explore their characters more before I dive into their dynamic at all personally, cause I feel like there’s so much you can explore for each of them separately outside the other

(so I’m about to take a turn here but it’s important I promise shhzgsgsh)

Lime is eccentric right? I think that’s a really important part of their character, they’re paranoid and they have big trust issues, they think the world is out to get them constantly, and are obviously always stressed out by it

They have a big “scratch at the world before it scratches at you” attitude, they refuse to live the same way others do cause what if this happens? Or that? Or this.. and so on, They’re an overthinker, but their paranoia is far from disproportionate to the reality they live, I mean, they literally work under Mira, they have every right to be paranoid when the company made organ donations to be mandatory for employees

But that paranoia resulted in Lime being perceived as weird and crazy, someone that shouldn’t be taken seriously at all, despite how right they are most of the time, I mean, they were the one to figure out who the imposters are first, and actively tried to stop them

Funny enough tho, Lime doesn’t trust anyone as much as everyone doesn’t trust them

That kinda makes you question how painfully lonely they must feel, imagine talking and talking and everyone barely gives you a glance, it’ll feel like you’re talking to the damn wall, and this is definitely what led them to go to such extreme lengths to prove themself and try hunting down the imposters by themself with zero help and zero support

Blue, on the other hand is.. quite the opposite

They’re collected, they work in harmony with the world around them, and they know how to deal with people

I think an interesting thing about Blue, is their ethics, it’s obvious that they’re very invested in being ethical considering their position, but what I don’t see people mention often is their willingness to compromise their ethics for the safety of others

What I’m saying is that Blue has their priorities, and their ethics, while on top of the list, isn’t really no.1, that reads to me as the lesser of the two evils approach, obviously, compromising their ethics shouldn’t happen, but having people die isn’t an option here either, so they obviously would pick the far less grotesque choice of the two, so they decide to lure Lime out of the vents by lying about being in danger (well, in Lime’s perspective at least)

Another really interesting thing about them is their social intelligence, as a doctor (both in medicine and elegiac poetry), Blue would obviously need to have a certain level of knowledge and awareness on how to deal with people, and understand their wants, needs and expectations on a deeper level, more so than the average person

And they do, while their looks might help big time, usually it’s their actions especially that has people in a chokehold, the way they pick their words and their actions are usually very aligned with what the person in front of them needs to hear or see most, this is not just a skill at acting a certain way, but it’s also a skill at being able to read people like an open book and acting accordingly, that’s the only reason they’re able to lure Lime out of the vents in the first place

But you see it best with Orange, Orange isn’t impressed by Blue? Blue immediately hits them with the notarized paperwork, they understand that this is what Orange needs and they already have it prepared before Orange could even truly question them about it

What I’m saying is, there’s definitely a level of…intentional proactive action from Blue to help them move things along

They’re definitely a workaholic considering the extent they’d go through to match people’s standards and expectations, tho I don’t think anyone has higher expectations of them than Blue themself

Now why did I just talk about all that?

Well, you have a paranoid bean with big trust issues and a doctor who changes their attitude depending on who’re they’re dealing with, and can read people like an open book all while they’re a doctor working for Mira..

Y’know, doctors take notes on you and write documents about any condition you might have, working for a corrupt company like Mira?

Their dynamic is great cause their relationship is a fucking disaster waiting to happen dhhdhdhdh

I do think, to an extent, while they might get along best, that Blue could easily mess up and cause Lime to become even more skittish than they already are

Lime does state that they trust Blue the most out of everyone (which I think is really adorable), but they don’t say that they completely trust them without a shadow of a doubt

Lime’s trust is fragile, and can be broken easily, a single thing Blue does wrong and Lime might make sure Blue doesn’t come near them ever again, and while Blue is respectful and only do what makes their job easier, them playing into what people expect of them would absolutely not help Lime’s paranoia

There’s a level of delicate balance that Blue would have to be in to keep things peaceful between them and Lime, cause Lime is aggressively passionate about what they believe, and I think Blue would actually admire that about them, but Blue would need to tread carefully in Lime’s space lest they do something they regret

Blue does have the habit of believing people and making them heard tho, which I think Lime would really appreciate, had Blue not died in the second episode, I wholeheartedly believe they would’ve believed Lime’s words about an alien on board, and maybe saved Lime from getting themself killed cause they wouldn’t be as into fighting the aliens all alone to begin with

Anyway I fucking love how the Among Us Show treats the show both like a game and like an actual show. (A rant)

People underestimate Orange too much. They threw in the towel to convince everyone there were no imposters onboard anymore. By saying they were, indeed, going to kill more crewmates, then everyone would be convinced for sure that there were no more impostors. So then, a party was thrown, where Green almost killed every single one of them in one fell swoop. If not for Heracles, brought illegally onto the Skeld so no one knew about it, then Green would've used the party to kill literally everyone via oxygen deprivation. Its death told Purple something was terribly wrong.
